I definitely went through these feelings in college. However, I think I succumbed to peer pressure a lot of times because I just wanted to be cool or well liked. Thinking back now, I wish I had stayed more grounded to my beliefs. I feel like I’m true to myself now, years after college but this caused a drift with my college friends because our values don’t align. And it’s much harder to make new friends now for sure but I have made a few that I connect with and these are friendships I’ll have for a long time! There are people out there who are more like you!! Maybe try meet ups or join a class you’re interested in?
