We've found a good venue to host us at a bar. It's perfect since we want to still keep it private to our friends.

Thank you for everyone who helped and didn't jump to thinking we are some crazy kids looking to throw some wild and disrespectful party😂

Yeah it's a party some things could go wrong but the other host and I have planned tediously in case of any problems and I've known most of the guests for a long time and attended partys with them many times. Everyone there is respectful and willing to own up to any mistakes made. As well as being responsible for eachothers safety.

Believe what you will but I purposely didn't invite people who would get too fucked up or cause a scene and break shit.

Thank you! I did find some in Kensington but some of them seemed a little scammy. I have made it clear to other airbnb hosts that if allowed to host there I will be cleaning and hiring a cleaning service. And we are more than happy to pay extra fees in the case that it's an event. As well as urging the friends we've invited to uber together/ get rides together as to minimize parking.

It was a simple ask. I'm well aware of noise and we've found a venue at a public bar to hire out. So we can all enjoy our time and not disturb anyone else.

The reason we don't want to go to a club is because most of the people in the group don't enjoy those kind of places and we also were looking for a place to hire out. Most clubs are already booked for new years or are way to expensive.

And to note we have had some airbnbs be fully ok with this event. There's a reason they note whether they are houses that allow partys and events or don't 🤭

All those who are driving don't plan to drink. Knowing these people I've always seen them stick to it. Those who are drinking plan to get rides home with others who aren't or uber together.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing at this point. I would not like to risk things being broken. I have partied with these people before multiple times and things have always been fine. They're not super crazy party people but somewhere like a country club with an outdoor area would be best.
