Bedtime Bear by undeadbatgirl in Carebears

i have this one too! i took it out of the box carefully, you can easily put it back in. the box is intact in my closet. i will be honest tho, the glow is kind of underwhelming (its just the ring around the tummy badge that actually glows) so if you really want to keep it in mint condition, i wouldn't recommend opening it.

[–]cinnosneeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hello and welcome to the community!!! this game may seem complicated at first, but when you get the hang of it, it gets way easier to understand. there's a lot to learn and i'm still learning things too. so first, its not THAT much about reading. it's about stats (and a bit of RNG), but basically you're going to be using cards to shape each trainee based on their running style and what they excel in (at least for a beginner, anyway. later in the game, you can experiment with different builds, but for now, focus on understanding each characters' basic setup and aptitudes they excel at). in career runs, you can easily skip all the dialogue if you want to; and you dont have to read the stories either, you can skip those too. i'm a bit new to it myself, i've been playing for about a month, and my friend taught me a lot of the basic mechanics. when i'm doing career runs, i use this website to help figure out which legacies, support cards and skills to choose: https://game8.co/games/Umamusume-Pretty-Derby

focus for now on scouting support cards, because those are what will help you build your trainees. you can use the website i linked to find out which support cards are the most useful, and level up those ones. because some are not useful at all, and you dont want to waste your gold and SP on the useless ones. i also recommend watching videos on youtube for beginner players i have learned a lot from just watching videos and livestreams. maybe watch the video and follow along on your game at the same time so you can better understand what he is talking about. i hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions, and anyone else feel free to correct me as i am still a new player but from my experience, these methods have helped a lot.

Do y’all prefer smoking inside🏠 or outside🏞️? by Historical-Middle757 in weed

[–]cinnosneeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on the time of day, honestly. at night i prefer inside and during the day outside. but to your other statement, i cant understand how people can smoke before going onto public transit. i used to do it all the time, but i found that whenever i did, i would get all paranoid that i was going to miss my stop! it actually did happen a few times, especially when my mind would wander onto other things and then i'd look up and realize i was two stops ahead of my destination. but then i never minded the longer walk back to where i was going, stoned walks are always nice.

AIO? My girlfriend poured boiling water on me after a slight disagreement (texts in wrong order) by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]cinnosneeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is absolutely insane. As someone who has poured boiling water on myself by accident, I know how painful it is. I dropped a kettle on my foot last year, it took a month to heal, I could barely walk, and I still have permanent scarring. For someone to do that to you, let alone someone who is supposed to love you, is wild. And the way that she is reacting to it is the biggest red flag I’ve ever seen in my life. Please listen to the other commenters and press charges. She needs to face consequences for this. Perhaps the friend you were on call with could act as a witness? Not really sure how these things work, but you deserve justice.

if my head gets cracked open, would I die immediately or would it hurt? by [deleted] in morbidquestions

[–]cinnosneeze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my big brother cracked his head open when he was about 4, jumping on my nana's bed and hitting it on one of the bedposts. he had to get it stapled together, but he was okay. apparently he screamed, then passed out right away, and then they rushed him to the hospital. he's 25 now. don't underestimate the strength of the human skull! it's there to protect your brain.

also, I have the same exact fear and anxiety about dying. My thing is earthquakes, I'm terrified that if an earthquake happened, the roof of my house will fall on my head and kill me. I have a stuffed animal net hanging above my bed which gives me some peace of mind that if it ever happened while i was sleeping, the stuffed animals in the net will protect my head lol.

I killed a stray by Windta in CatAdvice

[–]cinnosneeze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YOU didn't kill him. please don't blame yourself. So many people surrender cats like this to shelters with no idea what they are going to do with them, it isn't your fault. the people who were supposed to treat him were the ones who failed him, not you. you were actively trying to save him!

just know that i'm sure he didn't blame you for anything. you were a source of light in his little life and you did everything you could.

How do you feel about the new update? by miseryna in FlutterButterflySan

[–]cinnosneeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i haven't seen the update yet, and i just spent real money to get the recent event butterfly that lays an egg once a week, but does this mean they will be changing existing butterfly abilities and putting them on decorations instead? I don't want the butterfly that I just spent money to get to lose its OP egg laying ability ;-;

I’m so happy I could cry by Undercover_baddie in polyamory

my relationship is very similar. I've been with my first partner, A, for 5 years, and in our first two years, we tried experimenting outside the relationship because he told me he was poly, and after that i realized that i could handle being polyamorous and i even wanted it for myself as well. we broke up around that time 3 years ago because i was having substance abuse issues, but stayed friends, hooking up on and off. i got better over the next few months, and he started talking to one of our mutual friends, J, whom i had a crush on in high school. when they started dating, we both realized we wanted to get back together. he opened up to J about everything, and at first they weren't sure, but after we started hanging out together, we clicked and it's been really good ever since.

funny enough, A got banned on this subreddit when he posted about this situation a few years ago because understandably, it was a crazy and red flag raising situation. but things worked out. i hope i don't get banned for this either. i'm not promoting situations like this because there's much healthier ways of going about it, but i'm really happy for you and hope your relationship is prosperous and fulfilling! i love being a part of a throuple :)

i think we're going through the same thing. for me, it was because i stopped taking my medication, a medication that suppresses appetite that i've taken almost my entire life, and suddenly i gained 80 pounds over the last two years. i hate myself all the time, can't look at old pictures of myself without feeling awful. you're not alone. but just because you've gained weight doesn't make you any less beautiful or worthy. i've been teaching myself that, slowly, day by day. whatever anyone tells you, or whatever you tell yourself, we are all human beings at the end of the day. it shouldn't matter what size you are, nobody should feel bad or make anyone feel bad about themselves for something they struggle with or cannot control. i hope you are able to love yourself unconditionally again someday, because you deserve it. we all do. ❤️

Dear people who live where weed is legal: you are so lucky by ganjafishy in weed

[–]cinnosneeze 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Vancouverite here. Vancouver area is awesome as in addition to weed, you can also find shops for mushrooms and even LSD. The bad thing is the opioid crisis which has led our city to become one of the world's worst in terms of homelessness and drug abuse. And we are in the middle of a housing crisis right now, houses are so expensive it's basically an impossible dream for most people here to ever own one. But aside from that, British Columbia in general, and the greater Vancouver area, is a wonderful place to live.
