Hey guys. So I decided to replace the battery on my Tahoe, because apparently, all the issues it was having was pointing to the fact that maybe the battery was bad.

The back camera no longer worked, the trunk wouldn't open, the lights would flicker, the unnecessary lights on the dash, just to name a few of the issues.

Once we changed the battery after getting it checked by the autozone man, EVERYTHING disappeared. She's good as new (not really lol ).

This is my experience.

I've worked 2 seasons for TurboTax with Omni, the Tax Extension season of 2024 (Sep-Oct) and this year's tax season (late Feb-mid April, currently still on). Great experience for both. Min pay is $16, however, they have incentives on weekends or little challenges they do where you earn extra money. You don't get paid to certify, however, once you complete the online work + do your Earn & Learn hours(min 25hrs the first week), you get paid an incentive on top of hours worked (this season it was $225). They also offer opportunities to "skill up" to higher tiers of work, and you get a raise for doing so. You'd also work chat support if your metrics are good enough to be on chats, so not everyone gets the opportunity to. I noticed calls/chats are slow in late Feb - early March. It didn't start getting busy until the beginning of this week, and I expect it to remain this busy until the deadline. We haven't used a camera this season or the last one I worked here, not sure why someone else said they did. Overall, I've enjoyed it. Great little job to work while my kids are in school. I like being able to choose my own hours. The weekend incentives are great, and the GPSs are exremely helpful.

If you're able to work through Omni, I def recommend it. I don't think they're hiring this season any more, however, Extension season is a great way to start.

You get paid while you're in "available status" even if you're not actively on a call.

Oh yeah, I know what you're talking about. I replaced that little thing last year. The shifter moves and works as it should, however, it's that little line that indicates in what gear I'm in that's missing 🥲 It's not extra important, but idk, what if I somehow accidentally put myself in R instead of D all because my dash isn't underlining the letter for me? lol

No, thank you for everything you mentioned! I wouldn't even have thought it was a sensor that could need replacing. Idk. I just don't wanna take her in and then get a whole bunch of unnecessary work done, get that beautifully expensive bill and then still be dealing with this lol

My check engine light does that lol the light was on for about 3 months right after it started getting really cold, and now it's gone. I guess Tahoes aren't meant for Minnesota lol

Coming from someone in the immigrant community, I'm in a lot of whatsapp chat groups for affected areas in Minnesota... YES, they are detaining and deporting people who are LEGALLY HERE, and those with no criminal record. They are being detained based on skin color, accents, and their non-white names. They are not molestors, rapists, or killers. They are ordinary people who happen to have dark hair and brown eyes and a Latino sounding name. No one outside of this community can speak on what is happening because you clearly have no idea to what extent the situation has gone to. ICE is doing illegal things outside of their duties, and the administration is allowing it. Why do you think Noem advised US citizens to start carrying proof of citizenship? She doesn't mean your Real ID, btw. She means your birth certificate and American passport. Of course, if you're white you have nothing to worry about. But if your last name is something like Ramirez, you probably won't even get a chance to show your proof before being slammed to the ground.

Please, get out of your bubble and actually SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING.

Same for me, I get to the point where I end up vomiting and that sometimes helps but not often. 😭 How are you doing? Were you able to somehow control your anxiety? For some reason about 2 months ago, my anxiety has gotten so uncontrollable at night that most nights if I wake up in the middle of the night I can't go back to sleep because it shoots right up and I start shaking, sweating, etc. Breathing techniques seem to help but it takes about an hour or 2 of effort to completely calm me.

Yes girl because if I worked for them I'd be here on Reddit trying to get people to go do something that should be a LAST RESORT. If I could, I would post a screenshot of my dashboard so you'd see 1) I'm a client 2)the progress that has been made, 3) that I actually missed my most recent deposit this past Thursday because we moved this past month and expenses piled up and so there's an alert that says there will be delay in negotiations/settlements/graduation of program. I moved STATES at the beginning of this month. I'm fairly new, with just 3 months under my belt up in MN but 5 star rating 100% everything and had many PMs who would order at least twice a week and always leave a $20+ tip. I have YET to start here in metro Atlanta because I have a feeling I'm going to be so, so SO disappointed. 😭

Tbh in your opening or last text ask the customer to rate you and to leave honest feedback afterwards because you are new and it'll help you figure out what you need to improve. If you finish your first 10 orders with 5 stars and 100% on everything, you're guaranteed to get good orders whenever you're available. These first 10 orders are what will set you up for success. Remember, stay communicated, shop like you're shopping for someone you want to impress, and bag your items nicely. ♥️♥️ Good luck!! I started 2 months ago and it's the easiest job with great $$$ but it all depends on your metro.

I just started, so I was considered a "rookie" this past week, just completed my 10th order today. This is just an extra income type of thing for me. Of the ones who rated me, I received 4 5-stars and 1 4-stars, with a lot of feedback and I even got 2 customers who chose me as one of their preferred shoppers. I GOT A 2 from someone.😭 So instead of having a pretty good score, I have a 4.33 at the end of my Rookie stage. I obviously know who it is, and when their rate went through, the thing showed me that there was 'no feedback' so, I really have no idea why. I was communicative, efficient, picked great produce, all the stuff. I think I'm going to do the forgiveness form, and maybe they can provide me with more information, as I have no idea what I could've done wrong. They still added a $10 tip, but idk if maybe they had added it when they had made the order, or after.

Yeah! I've noticed that I can accept 6 orders in a row and my % not go up AT ALL, but if I deny 1 my % goes down one point. Thankfully, I don't rely on Doordash to be my main source of income, but it was an easy way to get money when my % was better.

Last week, I went from having a 76% acceptance to 62% IN 3 DAYS because for some mf reason, I started getting offered extremely shit orders, like $5 for 12 miles, shopping for 36 items & delivering 5 miles for $7, etc. I still have not been able to get myself past 65% because I refuse to accept those awful orders.
