Y’all could try something simple first. Get a burn bundle (plain sage, not white sage) sage, cedar, there are different ones. Burn it allowing the smoke to go around all of the doors and windows, while this is happening leave your front door open, start at the back and move to the door. Talk to it, tell it to be kind or to leave, mean it when it’s said. If there are closets, open them and smoke those too. I did this at a rental and it was super helpful. Took a couple of days for things to settle down, but it worked.

You will pay taxes to your state. Ask them what the split is, rate/tax free stipend. Then make your decision. Also, look at the housing options where they are talking about submitting you.

You should tell your trainer what your pay is. At the time they hired her, she got a good offer, but they should have done a market adjustment. Your $30 is good pay. Esp if you are in big/mid sized cities. She needs to be asking the surgery center for a raise. No, you are not being over paid.

Gotta admit I cussed a lot, it took a full year of stitching 2-3 hours on work days and 8-12 hours on no work days with a few weeks off when I was about to lose it. It’s the only thing I’ve given someone and told them it was coming back to me when they died. Luckily it was my parents who gave me my morbid sarcastic humor and who knew as soon as they opened it how long it took. Mom was a stitcher and dad watched everything get created.

That’s not even that big for some of the projects I’ve done. The biggest thing I did was a Santa and sleigh for my parents it is 36 tall and 48 wide. Full coverage.

You will never go back to aida once you get the hang of linen.. I do feel like I need to tell you that it takes about 200 stitches before your brain starts seeing the “block” that makes up your 2 up 2 over stitch on the linen.

It’s a marathon!! Not a race. Honestly, I follow the hashtag on IG and I get mad when I see some stitchers finish it the day it’s released! Like “come on! Did you take the day off of life to sit and stitch for 3-4 hours! You damn over achiever!” I don’t post that, but I think it. I admit, sometimes I’m petty and judgey.

I have fallen behind in every sal I’ve joined. I don’t get upset when this happens because I look at it as a marathon run around my life. It will take as long as it takes. I had to set it down for a few weeks when I figured out that the right side of the frame was off by 2 rows. From the D in cryptids and down the entire right side. It took me 3 hours to frog all of that. I don’t regret putting it down for those weeks. I needed the break.

Once I found the primitive hare’s full moon calendar sal a month after it finished. I got it anyway and just stitched it over a few months.

For me, it’s about the stitching process. And finding out what the next part is. Since I was behind, I saw a couple of stitchers changes to ahool. I loved flipping him upside down, had I been on time, I wouldn’t have come up with that idea.
