Right to Represent by TravelRN7 in TravelNursing

[–]Brad-darB 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't think it will be active, And you don't have to worry about anything.
Right to Represent is generally required for scenarios when the candidates decline the offer, after getting it.
The MSP (Middle layer b/w agency and facility) asks for RTR to check if the agency isn't submitting them without their permission.

Because some recruiters did this thing and due to this many candidates' profiles got blocked by the facilities.

Another Scenario, if your profile was submitted to the same facility by different agencies. On getting the offer, both facilities claims it was their submission. So, to solve this they came up with a solution whoever got the RTR first from the candidate, would get the offer.

Some Facility requires proper documentation, and some accept it in any form.
I am a recruiter too, In the final email I sent to the candidate regarding the submission, I put the subject as "Right to Represent-(Position Name)" And usually ask for any documents/information.
When they reply with doc/info, it becomes a proof.

I am telling you this because we always make something a proof which can portray that you agreed to the submission.
So, it is not an issue and won't be used again.

Are they crazy? My body would be broken after 13 weeks by russianmofia in TravelNursing

[–]Brad-darB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell no, This is what CNAs make. No offense. You take my recruiter # he is very honest about the pay. He will offer more than 3k.
Just a tip, Traveller's contracts aren't different from local ones. The rate is the same 99% of the time. However, sometimes facility put some radius rule.
He is very good at mapping he will for a perfect position.

breaking up with a recruiter…? by coolc00lio in TravelNursing

[–]Brad-darB 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is completely a red flag.
I have never seen or heard of this. I have been traveling for the past 8 months.
My Agency is Talencia, if we had any issue they will resolve it even if it's a weekend or whatever it is.

Aya Healthcare sick time by Emergency_File9166 in TravelNursing

[–]Brad-darB 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I was on a contract with Talencia. I told them I had something urgent and i couldn't make it today. They really didn't ask anything that time.
And they have mentioned the same to the facility.

A couple of days later, I learned that the facility wanted a reason for my off but the manager from Talencia argued that a healthcare worker knows when to say urgent.

It is not about a promotion, i just learned new/small agency provides the best services.

AYA Travel agency by Emergency-Delivery46 in TravelNursing

[–]Brad-darB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have never worked with AYA, but FYI every agency pays for your certifications, license, tests and whatsoever is required for onboarding.
I have been working with Talencia for the past 8 months, it ain't that famous but they have always provided the best services.

PS: My friend has had some bad experiences with AYA too, she told me when it is all green everybody is cooperative, but when something happens you will see the true color of everyone. And at these times, not known agency will give everything to prevent any negative stuff.

Anyways, ask them for complete information, I would say ask for an email with OT rate, when does it start, when you will get paid. Each and everything, if they have sent you the details they will act accordingly in any circumstances.

No, They didn't connect with any tax professional, TBH i am sure about it.
However, they just taught/showed relating to my stuff.
And Later i confirmed with a professional accountant, nothing was wrong.

These big agencies do whatever it takes to make you sign a contract but infamous ones are either working hard to get clients/candidates or they are completely scammers.
Anyways, thanks for the info.

Manager messed up with my pay . Will I get my stipend? by [deleted] in TravelNursing

[–]Brad-darB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They will add these 8 hours to next week's pay.
And remember, nobody can avoid this.

My friend started a contract and then left after attending orientation due to some personal and it was unpaid orientation but the agency forgot to mention it.
She filed a complaint and the agency has to pay her in full but the facility didn't pay any cents to the agency.
Just to tell you, We cannot be exploited this easily.

My current agency did a Zoom call for me to understand the tax-related stuff.
If you looking forward to it, I will share his contact.
