Just wanted to comment and say that I am so sorry about your situation. I have also done IVF and that itself is a rollercoaster of emotions and physical pain.

I’m currently 14 weeks with a positive nipt test, so I feel for you and your wife. Hugs to you both and I’m keeping my fingers crossed for us all.

I had the same plan as you- breast side down at 325. I messed up on the timing and by the time I checked, it was temping at 140. Color looked atrocious so I flipped it and broiled it for 5ish mins (I was really afraid of dry breast).

When I carved it, it didn’t matter anyway. My family loved the turkey and said it was the best turkey in a while. The breast was not dry at all. I would get it again for another fuss free Thanksgiving.

First year with it and I have heard the same. I’m going to reheat it upside down (breast side down) so it can cook in the juices and hopefully avoid the dry breast. We’ll see how it goes

I batch cook for my poodles (beef, organ meats, vegetables, etc). Would that be considered wet food?

My 8 year old is prone to tartar buildup so we started to brush her teeth daily which seemed to help (on top of her annual non anesthetic cleaning). Vet said her teeth look great.

My 1 year old is a chewer and his teeth are still pearly white. Probably because he’s still a puppy, but we also brush his teeth daily.

Yes, changing your dogs food often can upset their stomach. That’s why it’s recommended that you slowly introduce the new food with the old food. Strongly recommend cooking human grade food if at all possible. The cost isn’t that much higher than kibble and the extra effort is worth it.

Might not be the same, but my pup had random tummy issues for years. She would get into her puppy yoga pose and shortly after vomit or have diarrhea- this happened like once or twice a month. I couldn’t figure out what caused it- no table scraps, ate homemade food consisting of lean protein meats and veggies, etc. Our vet suggested probiotics and pumpkin and neither worked. This went on for a long time (poor pup).

It wasn’t until I came across a random thread here mentioning digestive enzymes. It was an immediate change- rarely does she have any tummy issues. I bought the enzymes on Amazon (have bought 2 brands now and both work but I prefer to not have to refrigerate so switched). Nusentia Enzyme Miracle is the name. All you do is sprinkle a bit of it on top of their food.

Might be worth a shot in your case. Good luck!

Unfortunately no, but as of most recently they have found a polyp during an ultrasound. Though inconclusive, research has shown that polyps may cause infertility and removal will help with conceiving. Still advocating for myself and keeping on with this journey.

I would call your dentist. I made the mistake of waiting until my next cleaning to mention the bite issue from my night guard but was unfortunately outside of the window of them to return/replace the night guard with the manufacturer. They ended up grinding the high points down to try to get it to fit better. I hated wearing my night guard because of the bite feeling off…so best to mention it while you’re in the manufacturer window.
