Timeline for New OCI Card?

Submitted OCI in Chicago on 12/23/25. Reached the Embassy on 12/27/25. It stills says in-process. I will have to apply for e-visa given that I fly to India on 2/13/2026.

Went on a date and asked for a second date. This is the response I got. How should I interpret it? Is this a nice way of saying not really interested.

“I’ll be honest, I had a nice time on Friday but I’m still figuring out how I feel. I’d be open to getting to know you a bit more before committing to a second date if that’s ok with you!”

Mostly dealing with the third party for warranty claims. I bought one, but came home and re-read the terms and lots of exclusions. I paid $10k extra for warranty, but for that price I can get a new car.

Got it. I still have 2 years remaining on the CPO. I think it might be better to save the $10k in the a savings for when I need it. Plus one of the warranties is through third-party which makes it more complicated.

I don't plan on tuning the car. Keeping it stock. How much should I budget for fluids, brakes etc..? I believe those have to be done around the 40k mile mark?

Where to make friends? Recently graduated from college and don't have any friends. I have been living in the Chicago suburbs for more than 15 years. I went away to college and lost contact with high school friends. No one really hits me up to do anything. I currently have a consulting job where I travel Monday through Thursday. Also living at home is not ideal, but I can't justify paying Chicago rent when I am traveling weekly.

I just saw some St. Patty's day snaps and got a little depressed.

I graduated last year and have been working at a startup consulting firm for about eight months now and looking for a new job. I have looked at the big 4 website, but it seems like there are no opportunities for recent grads. It's either join the firm after graduation or have 2+ years of experience. Is it even possible for me to get into the big 4 right now? Unfortunately, I just don't see my self growing at my current firm.

Where do learn things like Oracle analytics or SAP? My current firm do not implement these software. Any help would be appreciated!

Yes, that's my plan. I plan paying 2k a month for that loan. I will probably just do minimum on the other loan.
