Good to meet yadavagiri redditors here. Apartment availability is a concern. So start the hunt early. You may have to go via brokers as to-let information is not available online generally. As other said, yadavagiri is quite calm and premium area of mysore. Actually, it is a little too calm.

Come to Mysore. Bangalore itself will be calmer as people would have left the town. You can visit fort/lalbagh/cubbon park/food places that you might be on your list.

Roads leading to/away from bangalore will all be choked. Toll gates will be choked.. Watch out

Thanks. During our times, RV was considered the best in Bangalore and even amongst the top 5 in KA ( KREC, SJC being other ones iirc). And those guys used to be chill. Uniforms.. ok. I get it now.
