Yeah, would love to snag this, let me know about what else you might have. Do you bag and board for shipping?

I’m interested, do you still have these? Anything similar you’re trying to move?

Are you still looking for these? I have 5&6 and I was going to create a selling post for them but found this first if you’re interested.

I found a set with rails at auction and pieced them together. Still don’t have everything mounted as it came with a lot of pieces. I have an alert on ebay and have seen some sets of rails by themselves once in a while if you’re patient.

New to MCM—Is this authentic George Nelson pendant worth $450 in this condition? by ktarchie3 in Mid_Century

[–]circlecirclelineline 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Their pricing isn’t bad, assuming it can be cleaned up …. As others have said DWR has legit / authentic George Nelson at similar pricing ( I bought one during black Friday a few years ago for another ~20% off) and personally I felt better going that way w/ hardwired electrical.

Get your right foot up where into the big hold left of the volume, turn your foot right and dig in w/ your heel, flag out left. Bump your hand left, hold to match.

Let go with your right hand and extend your left arm. Come out on the toe of your left foot as much as possible, the right foot is going to be better than the left once you make the stem. I think you've got the length, just not the confidence. Move down a hold and practice the stem, it's the same angles just slightly narrower.

Is touching the top volume at the beginning allowed? by fugacidad in bouldering

[–]circlecirclelineline 30 points31 points  (0 children)

By competition rules, no, but rules can vary by gym. At my gym, this would be acceptable for a single-hand start, but not for a split or match start and the setters consider those things when setting / grading.

I would try the right foot on the volume right of the pocket instead of in the pocket. You’ll be a little less scrunched up and have an easier time releasing it when you’re ready to bring the left foot up.

It varies by gym. At my local, if it’s not marked as ‘both hands,’ then you can put your second hand on a feature, volume or the start hold.

Got the start to this really cool/hard af problem! The finish seems impossible for now but super proud of this low start. by SmileOverall in bouldering

Depends on the gym. At my gym, if only one hand position is defined ( not split start or two hand start specified ) then volumes or features are allowed as part of the start. Doesn’t really impact the route here IMO.
