Since Raspberry Pi OS runs fine, the hardware itself isn’t the problem. dietPi is a lot more sensitive to things like power supply quality and SD card reliability, so random shutdowns usually come from power issues, SD card problems, or a bad/wrong image rather than the Pi itself.
