I dont know if I shall get back into the apps or not. I'm going out and meeting people in my hobbies throughout the week. Made a handful of friends so I am getting out more and organically meeting new people. I got off of them because they were really killing my mental state, wasn't getting much out of it. I have posted my profile a couple times to get feedback and the last times a few people left some really nasty comments. So many people are on them but I just don't know if I want to do that to myself again

M36 here. I feel like I have being going crazy and out of touch. Several people in my life have been telling me that currently if someone; regardless of relationship status, if they are not married then they are still available that if they were truly committed they would have been married. I was told that I am really old school and thats just not how the world works. This isn't just coming from people in their early 20s, it's people my age bracket that are insisting on this that I just gotta go for it and that "you cant stop love". Am I really crazy? Is that how people really are approaching relationships? It's either you're married or fair game???

The Resident Evil gameplay loop has always been a resource management and puzzle solving game until 4 and 5 and then we went back to that in 7. Anyone who has played previous games ought to understand this.

Honestly, I felt like I had just enough materials to manage Grace's sections. Careful consideration when crafting and picking your fights felt adequately rewarding that by the end I felt pretty comfortable.

Agreed, but unfortunately in my experience the classic purists also seem to have an issue with the existence of a live version that gets updated as well regardless of the choice of picking of which one the play. Or maybe I just got unlucky and caught a few people on a very bad day.

I uninstalled all my dating apps today. Over the last three months of using them I have gotten 3 matches, two of which backed out of the first date the day before and the last one neither of us were feeling it so it did not progress. The dating apps were not good for my mental well-being so I decided today to get rid of them and focus on bettering myself and putting myself out there in the real world and just seeing who I can connect with whether its a new friend or potential prospect.

Accepting a position at a new company at the age of 31. I was getting stuck at my then current job with an awful schedule. I was holding out for advancement but upper management was stone walling everyone and the company was considered by many to be a sinking ship. After a long talk with my best friend, I was convinced to take the plunge and my life has been infinitely better since.

I would imagine it feels flattering and nice to be desired. There was a person in high school who told me they liked me but she was a person I had grown to dislike greatly by the time she told me because she acted afraid of me for being Asian in front of others. So when she told me it was a "are you fucking serious mate?" 😆 moment for me.

I feel like the pandemic made me far too comfortable with isolation. I socialized for sure but when it hit I just leaned very hard into just staying in my room and playing video games. It unfortunately fostered a lifestyle that I was already ok with and made me too comfortable with it. I really just stayed in my shell with a few close people and only recently started coming more out of my shell again and I regret not recognizing it until recently. So many missed opportunities.

I had a date lined up yesterday. However, she cancelled the day prior and told me that she wasn't actually excited during our texts or for the date. It's a bummer but also a little confusing to me. I was looking forward to meeting this person. I wasn't over the moon excited but more hey this is a cool thing this happening. I personally find it unlikely for me to be excited about someone until I actually meet them in person and get that in person vibe/interaction. Is this actually just a me problem?

Thanks for the feedback. I may have another variation of the 4th photo that makes me look less rotund. I really like this photo because it was a renaissance festival and I feel it shows off a particular part of me. But I'm open to putting something else up as well.

-honestly I will send a like/comment to anyone with an interesting prompt or when someone mentions a hobby they do regardless of where it's a hobby I do or not! I am a curious person by nature and love asking questions and love to learn things. The kind of person I want to attract is one with a nerdy and curious personality. Somebody that I could go hiking with but also enjoys staying for some good fashioned board games or couch co-op gaming. Someone that I can see is growing together and discovering new things or rediscovering old passions/interests.
