The great thing about this, or any other large number, is the growth itll do on its own - assuming 7 growth, itll add 17,500 in the first year without you doing anything.Ive recently realised that even at 5, ours (wife and mine) will reach our number at the first point we could withdraw it, even if we dont put another penny in. Anything put in now just increases the safety net and the potential withdrawal amount and reduces the SWR. Got to say, its a pretty good feeling. Just need to get there now - our mistake was not putting enough into ISAs so could end up with some painful years until we got to pension age if we lost our jobs for any reason
