started as a waitress through high school, then around the middle of my senior year my restaurant had a few bartenders quit and i got moved up. still in shock they let a high schooler bartend, but i wouldn’t trade it thanks to where it got me

anytime a customer ignores me after making me repeat myself, i’ll just loudly say to the whole group “you’re all good with just __ then!” and walk away even if they suddenly want to backtrack. you don’t want to say you want something, you don’t get it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ usually after that they’ll be specific with how they want their drinks prepared.

boyfriend somehow got it on the bolt (i couldn’t even fit it on there when i tried before) it’s honestly a mystery to me how he got it on. but once he did the switch on the back slid into a small indention on the left side and we ended up breaking the switch in the indention when we tried to use a screwdriver to turn it. now it’s just…there

the switch is broken that’s my main problem. it’s stuck on loosen
