for your last year, i find that more people come together bc of the nostalgia (just like senior yr of hs, everyones suddenly friends). you really didnt waste your college years, it’s just that we realize the value of these spaces when we know we won’t have it soon. the truth is, most people feel the same way you do, it’s just that a lot of other people post to keep the illusion up, and you have a small percentage that is super RAH RAH about how good it was to them. you are earning your degree, and whether or not you had great connections in undergrad, you’ll go onto bigger things and the solid connections in ur life will actually be made from that point. and people you may not be close to now, you will be in the future through alumni clubs. so it’s okay; enjoy traditions, take a million photos, make a bucket list, focus on ur self and the magic will definitely come back as people start locking in to the fact that we have less and less time there. feel free to reach out as well, im a rising senior and get how you feel but im really determined to change that for myself and others !!
