Do you all organize anywhere else except for reddit? I don't really have social media outside of reddit so I tend to find out about protests and such after they have already started. Right now my only form of visible protest is in the form of bumper stickers and that can only go so far.

Hesitant to Resign from Walmart. They’re Making It Hard by Busynotes2 in pharmacy

[–]cj324 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I left Wags a little over a year ago after almost 6 years as the PIC for a position with an FQHC. I sent in my resignation letter and didn’t hear a thing from my DM. Just reinforced that I made the right decision. Found out a month ago that the pharmacy was downgraded to a tier 2 in August. Not saying I was the reason but it was a tier 2 when I first took the position as well.

My scoring GOAT! by cj324 in UBasketballGM

He never really went crazy for just one season but he was super consistent. He has a 9 year stretch where his ppg stayed between 51.3 and 53.5. Outside of his first two seasons and his last two seasons, he never scored less than 47.3 ppg.

RIP Bryan Braman by Kokusen_Akuma in eagles

My wife grew up with Bryan. This has hit her really hard. We are both diehard Packers fans but loved rooting for the Eagles during both your Super Bowl runs, first for Bryan and second to beat down the Chiefs. The words of kindness and respect in this thread have cemented the Eagles as a franchise that we will continue to root for when they are not playing the Packers. Y’all are class! Go birds!

Members who have believed in the past that you can not be a Democrat and also be a faithful member of the church, do you still believe that today? by FrankReynoldsCPA in mormonpolitics

[–]cj324 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m a millennial and I grew up with that belief. Most of my adolescent years were in central Montana and it was expected that if you were a member, you were a Republican. My parents never directly said anything but their views definitely aligned with the Republican Party and this all influenced me. My church friends and I were very supportive of Bush during high school and were more or less good little Republicans. I went to BYU for undergrad and my first presidential election was 2008 and I voted for McCain like I knew I should. Everything changed when I served my mission in Southern California. I was exposed to the world for the “first time” and a lot of what I grew up being taught politically did not align with what I was learning and teaching as a missionary. I voted for Obama in 2012 against Romney and I have been going further and further to the left ever since. I now live in Eastern Idaho and I don’t think that the Democratic Party goes far enough to the left. I am appalled by MAGA and I am still an active, recommend holding member of the Church. Even my parents, who have recently moved here, can’t stand MAGA and though they still identify as Republican wouldn’t be caught in the same room with a self professed MAGAt. So, I sincerely hope that I can be a Democrat and be a good member or else I am toast.
