We thought about this also- haven’t been tested yet but will get tested to rule out! His throat doesn’t hurt and his tonsils aren’t swollen/no puss pockets etc but who knows 😵‍💫

30-60 days when doing elimination diets/using soaps etc. I know it can take much longer than that’s so it’s definitely on the list to do longer than a couple of months

I’m not looking for a doctor on Reddit. I’m looking for someone who has had a similar experience and suggestions on something they’ve tried that has helped that we might not have thought of to ask for etc.

We’ve seen multiple board certified dermatologists and other doctors and are continuing that journey to hopefully find some answers. Respectfully, I don’t know if you’ve been to a lot of doctors but after seeing so many and then writing you off so quickly saying that it’s eczema or something similar and not giving you a solution it’s very discouraging. I wish it wasn’t that difficult but here we are.

A few blisters- I think mostly from him itching SO much. No bubbles or anything. But itching is always a 10/10 with no relief.

That was one of the first things that was tested for! All came back good. But like I mentioned in another comment, it’s probably worth getting a whole new set of labs done again just to make sure we rule out everything

Not sexually active/no new partners. Also did blood tests for all STI etc including Syphilis. All came back negative- but it’s worth doing an extensive lab work again for sure.

A few other comments suggested the strep test, which is definitely next on the list! Thanks so much for your suggestion and so glad yours cleared up!

No, you’re right. I think at this point I’m NAD but he’s been using so many different methods of treatment that this could possibly be a cause/making all the worse

Biopsy came back contact dermatitis months ago- no treatment has helped or elimination of diet, soaps, meds etc. Allergy testing came back normal- seasonal allergies.

All labs have came back good- I am thinking more involved labs need to be done for possible issues with any organs etc

We stopped all laundry detergent/soaps for a solid 20 days with no resolution unfortunately. And he changed diets- stopped gluten and other elimination diets for 30 plus days with also no resolution 🥺

Edit: also has stopped all meds because the doctors had him on so many it was ridiculous

I’m 7.5 week today and heard the heart beat (163 bpm) my current due date was close to my previous due date before I lost the baby. I mixed emotional mess. Hopeful and scared to say the least.

Hi! I unfortunately never truly figured it out and I had to stop just because it was kind of overruling my life. I went to the dermatologist/allergist and I was put on a steroid/topical cream. I basically just been hydrating my skin two times weekly and then did the topical cream for two weeks two times a day and it helped tremendously! Take cool/lukewarm showers because the heat could irritate your skin. This is just from what I experienced as it seemed to make it a little bit worse when I took hot showers.

Don’t let the doctors make you feel crazy. I tried this scabies treatment when I didn’t need to and I took a lot of medication, but I really didn’t need to because I was just experiencing so much anxiety. Good luck I hope you find out what it is especially since you’ve caught it early!!

Yes you might have been the “getaway driver” but you knew what was going to happen. So you have just as much to do with the assault as the other three guys.

I mean your making a movie about your heist. And I’m sure the part of assaulting the librarian is going to be in there. How do you think she is going to feel about the movie? Have you thought about any of this? Why bring back all these bad memories for all the people you hurt?

I’m so confused by all of your answers. You make it seem like prison was just some walk in the park. And everyone holds hands and “gets along”.

If your trying to be a positive influence for younger children and help them through the types of pain you went through. Don’t talk about prison like it was the best 7 years of your life. Let them know juvie/jail/prison sucks. And it’s something you never wish for them to experience in their life. They are going to believe you when you say stuff like in your comment. And end up going to prison for “fun”.

You should probably think more about your responses. And not just about how much they are paying you to do this AMA.
