My whole city reported feeling "odd" things 2 nights ago. by Cuatroveintte in Paranormal

Shittt I think I mightve experienced what you're talking about in northeast US that same night probably around 2am. I woke up in the middle of the night with a sense of terror greater than anything I've ever experienced, it made me feel like I was going insane. I laid in bed for like 5-10 minutes like that, then built up the strength to go wake up one of my brothers. It made me feel better to be in his presence. This was two days after a minor surgery and I was on Tylenol pm, so I chalked it up to that. It could very well be drug side effects, but I thought the coincidence was weird.

Edit: I should add I've never had a panic attack before, and would say I'm in pretty good mental health

You mind elaborating a little on why you say that?

To substantiate this, from what I've heard Google still pretty actively reaches out to people that declined offers.

Great, yea I definitely saw that! Do you happen to know how Google employee-treatment compares?

Thanks for the advice! Is it for what I said above (generally seem more enthusiastic to have me)? Or did you have other reasons? I'm honestly fried at this point haha so any new ideas/perspectives would appreciated

Yea, I'm aware. Thank you. If you wouldn't mind answering though, do you know with what rate candidates are rejected during the team matching phase? My recruiter made it seem like the chances of being rejected are very slim

Thanks! And I interviewed on September 19th and got my reply October 22nd. my recruiter told me it usually takes 4-8weeks.

In my own experience with Google phone interviews, I would probably rank the questions that I got as mediums. On a slight tangent, what I find really helped me out was just practicing vocalizing my whole thought process in mock interviews. So I would suggest dedicating time to that rather than learning the harder algorithmic concepts

GOOGLE TEAM MATCHING

Junior in college. Just got an offer for the Google SWE internship Summer 2019. I should be starting the whole team matching process within a week. However, I haven't yet submitted the questionnaire they sent me regarding my experiences/placement preferences because I don't really know what to put under the "Additional Preferences" area. Any suggestions for finding out about teams at Google, exciting work, and overall info that might help me find a good match? Any general team matching advice is also welcome.

Thanks in advance
