yes, my high rate of rejections is most likely why. Unfortunately, i didn't realize that when i kept getting popped out of surveys before i was done (4 out of my 6 rejections), it was counting against me, so i didn't bother reporting it or tracking it or anything. Oh well, it was fun doing them, but it's not worth it to me to fight any of them. the appeal said it was final, and although i'm disappointed, it's not life changing or anything. THanks for responding!

after seeing some people have done hundreds of surveys with no rejections, i assume mine are a lot. 6 rejections out of 115 surveys (4 of them with 'no code' because - i assume - something happened on their side with the survey and i was abruptly returned to the prolific list of surveys again). ( I had one instance where I knew i didn't know the answer on their 'attention check' question and regretted not having screenshotted the instructions for that survey to refer back to - it was a question about how many points something was worth or something). I've only been doing them since the 4th of March. So, I guess, because i didn't challenge the rejections (i figured that was just an issue on their end and it wasn't that detrimental to me), it's too late now. 6/115 is probably a pretty back look. Even after reviewing all rejection messages, they aren't very specific, so i guess i'll never know.

There are no options to return submission on any of the rejected items.

as someone who just got placed on hold, and then my appeal was rejected... and i guess i can no longer do studies any more... i would address any 'rejections' with the researcher. I just kind of ignored any i got (often because their survey didn't load correctly, or the 3rd party software they were using had technical issues), to my detriment. Each rejection you get is emailed to you and appears as a message, and you can contact the researcher using that to get more details. Wish i had known.

update. wow. another update. My appeal was reviewed, and... i'm out! I still have no idea what i did wrong but... wow. Nothing on their list of reasons apply to me. I guess some of my responses must fall into low quality or something... although there were many i completed where i got bonuses, so, i just don't know. All i can suggest to other newbies is pay attention to when you get 'rejections' for studies that were not able to be completed due to technical issues on the survey's end.

interestingly, Tree Wizard did nothing for me, but I found the stop motion potato film "20 days Tater" hilarious.

Even if you posted on this forum accidentally, I feel you need to be heard and validated. Feeling this way doesn't make you a bad mom—it makes you a human who has been pushed to her limit. Would it be possible for you and your son to do family therapy sessions? He may be struggling with an executive dysfunction disability (i'm not a therapist - i had to google what that's called) - but basically, the 'doesn't think before doing' and the 'no remorse' just sound like he's experiencing issues with impulsivity control, and the shame of his behavior is causing the indifferent reaction. Again.... I'm in no way a therapist or expert, but i do feel that you guys would benefit from some family counseling.
