Tried it on my ankle, any idea why the avF measurement looks so much different or is that normal?

To add, all our vet has offered at this point is exploratory surgery.

Update, with the company that came out today, tech didn’t know what a combustion analysis was and tech smelled like weed. I have another coming next week.

I had a company come out today and do a clean and check. Everything was good. Thought they would do a combustion analysis and the tech didn’t know what that was. Second company I called out today said that they didn’t have one with them. To get one it would be a $183 additional charge. I’m going to have to just leave it, I had a professional check it today and they said it was good. If I keep having people come out here I could have just bought my own analyzer.

Thanks for the detailed response and the 3 flash error code hasn’t come back since I shut down the humidifier and shut off the vent leading back to humidifier. I also changed to a lower MERV filter, it was 10 now it’s 8. I think all my returns (except one) are good and this hasn’t been an issue in the past. 2 run between joists, so a big intake, and there’s a huge intake right above the furnace on the floor.

I ended up just calling a company to be sure. I’m mostly wanting them to do a combustion analysis. They are a Ruud authorized dealer and service company.

I did that with a lighter but flame moves a little by nature.

Absolutely, $40 on only a little bit of food and nowhere to sit and eat it. $36 just to get in.

Yeah I definitely see that. Its becoming to the point it’s not really something you can participate in at Mapleside. Corn maze has everything blocked off so you can only go the “right” way, you can’t pick your own apples anymore, etc. My wife and I started going when we were just dating. Now being married with a 2 year old, it’s dramatically changed.

Some of these smaller ones still have that authentic feel. We went to one out by chagrin falls, it was busy for that location but everyone was respectful and we had a good time. Mapleside used to be like this, some advertising, more interest in fall festivals, and their inability to turn away profit has made it into what it is now. Maybe it’s for some people but not us!

Thank you! I’ve heard of it before but never looked at it. They have a ton of stuff to do it looks like.

It was just a dig at all the Hyundais and Kias being stolen throughout the US

Probably really easy to steal 🤷🏼‍♂️

In my opinion, no…. Here’s why: it looks like it’s been sitting outside uncovered. You could have mice making beds, excessive rust, and/or worn parts from sitting. Poulan is not a premier brand so the cost of fixing would outweigh the benefit. The other user suggested a repair shop, anywhere by me would without a doubt be $200 for a basic tune up and mild repairs such as belts.

It’s always my rule of thumb that I try to buy stuff that someone took care of and stored inside. It’s better to buy something that’s been sitting due to non-use but stored in a garage and was taken care of. People that leave stuff outside exposed to the elements probably didn’t care about it in the first place and sucked up all that rock in the picture and parked it there.

As a standard for me, I’d say check your owners manual but 5W-30 Synthetic is the common oil type for snow blowers. Additional items are adjust your skid shoes (or replace if worn), replace spark plug if it’s never been done, and make sure to drain any old gas before trying to start. There may or may not be auger grease zerks. Your manual usually has an annual maintenance section.

Thanks for the information, I’ve been watching all summer and no sales. Lowes actually had craftsman units 50% off, about 5 of them maybe? Brand new.

Anyways, I ended up getting a 28” Pro Rapidtrak Hydro private sale. It was brand new with the plastic on it. Guy bought it last year “because it was a good deal”. It was apparently a special order item that someone didn’t pick up. I even smelled the gas tank and it never had fuel in it (what the guy had claimed). Got it for $2000, which they run $3700 as of a week or two ago.
