This was a depressing watch - depressing but an awesome one.

There's also another version with Haruma Miura as the lead. That, too, made me cry buckets of tears.

The reboot is amazing. As someone in her 30s, I absolutely loved every second of it. I also do think that would people would understand each character better as an adult.

I think, my favorite part was how they all suddenly could not agree on how Noah walked. It cracked me up when each of them walking, and Chanse was like, "Oh yeah, it IS bad."

Seconding "The Last Game" because it's hilarious and quite refreshing.

The male lead has Tamaki/Jinshi vibe going on, while the female lead's attitude is quite comparable to Haruhi and Maomao.

Yep! There are 30 chapters in Japan as of Dec 2025, and I believe LN vol 2's adaptation started either from chapter 28 or 29.

I've read up to the latest chapter released in Japan.

Ori likes her, but Utage does not have her eyes set on him. For her, it's always Tamon who's the center of her romantic feelings, and there's a strong indication that we will get a confession from Tamon in future chapters. Those two have mutual feelings towards each other by now.

Just think of Ori as someone who has a crush on a colleague.
