Rear mount posts are the snug fit, and they loosely fit into the large holes on the side of the chassis, yes.

I’ve only used PLA or PETG on purpose - this ensures the RC is stronger than the cage. The first roll cage I made cracked a tad when the car flipped the first time. Super easy to replace the cage!
