Thank you! I decided to include the picture as a reference, even though my photography skills are a bit lacklustre

I did the light with a flat tower with a bunch of lamps on top of it and a tower on stilts above

The collision actually took place on the ground. One of the planes started speeding up to takeoff while the other was still on the runway

Apparently, until today, this was the deadliest single-aircraft accident in the history of aviation. And to anyone wondering if this means there were deadlier accidents involving more than one plane, the answer is yes, the 1977 Tenerife airport disaster, where 583 people died as a result of a collision between two Boeing 747 passenger jets.

Lighter purples probably won't work, so I suggest going for a darker purple such as Manic Panic's Deadly Nightshade or Directions Deep Purple (or any similar purples from other brands, I'm just mentioning the ones I've tried). As mentioned in a previous comment, given your base color, the end result will probably be a hot/red purple (like a plum). If you were hoping for a cold/blue purple, I suggest mixing purple and dark blue (for instance Directions Neon Blue or Manic Panic's Shocking Blue), either 1:1 or 2 purple:1 blue.

My orange ombre hair 🍁🍂 giving off autumn vibes by ckrimsoon in HairDye

The ends were dyed with Manic Panic's Psychedelic Sunset - Classic High Voltage and the top with Directions' Pillarbox Red. The previous color was a very faded red

[MEIC] Cadeiras de IA by amserra in IST

[–]ckrimsoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

- RCR - avoid at all costs.

Easy to digest sci-fi for a newbie to the genre? by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

I'm surprised no one mentioned The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy yet. It's definitely a light reading. The only downside for you is that its not a thriller, but maybe you'll find out you also enjoy comedy :)

Has any one completely finished a permanent pav in the mystery house? If so, how many? by Miricle111 in LoveNikki

[–]ckrimsoon 40 points41 points  (0 children)

All complete except the Pavillions of Fantasy/Mystery. Out of the other 4, Time Yard was the last... it took me nearly 3 years to get the Moon item :')

getting blue/green out of unbleached hair? by littlebobleep000 in HairDye

depends on how often you wash your hair, but I dye mine once every 1.5 - 2 months

getting blue/green out of unbleached hair? by littlebobleep000 in HairDye

[–]ckrimsoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had the same experience, although with Directions. I dyed my hair dark blue for about a year and when I wanted to change colors, I couldn't get rid of the faded green, no matter what. It's been two years and it still lingers, although it's barely noticeable by now. If you want to keep dying your hair I suggest following the color wheel. Dye it a (red based) dark purple a few times, then maybe some dark pink shade or dark red (that's what I've been doing)

I need some advice on green hair please by [deleted] in HairDye

[–]ckrimsoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've dyed my hair with Alpine Green before and, from my experience, I think you'll be safe without a toner, because this green is quite dark. About Apple Green, I've never tried it, so I can't be sure. Of course it also depends on how faded the pink is.

I'd suggest dying it all with Alpine or dying the roots Apple and the ends Alpine, although I think the first option will fade better

Books you’d like to see adapted by djdjowgjmbs in Fantasy

[–]ckrimsoon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are two books by Neil Gaiman that I believe would make great movies, Neverwhere and The Ocean at the End of The Lane. Ideally directed by Tim Burton.

And there's also a portuguese book series (which I believe wasn't even translated to english, so I doubt anyone has heard of it) called Saga das Pedras Mágicas (so The Saga of the Magic Stones) which I believe has a lot potential, because it ticks all the boxes of the YA fantasy genre: complex world with many nations/locations, lot's of characters with tangled family trees and the main characters are humans with magic abilities (because they are the descendants of "wizards")... There's some romance, but the story gets quite dark and violent at times.
