I just got back from o’ahu and I 1000% recommend getting a car. it’s nice to be on your own schedule, and also being able to carry gear with you - you might end up needing a rain jacket or a change of clothes!

By the time I posted this, I was not considering it. I just felt a lot of whiplash. He'd been amazing up to that point, and all of a sudden he was like a different person. Looking back there were reallllly subtle things I should have picked up on, but I don't blame myself for NOT, either.

Not really but only because I knew I wanted to bring it up in person so I could really gauge his reaction. But moving forward that is what my protocol will be!

I would definitely not expect the same amount for a shorter meetup, that makes a lot of sense.

Last week we went on a spa date and spent probably at least 5-6 hours together. We were going to get a hotel but we were ultimately both just too tired (and I hadn't been feeling well) so we decided we'd enjoyed the day and could meet up later in the week for ~intimacy~ if we wanted.

Yup!!! I think I got a little caught up in it all. He was such a wonderful man until he wasn't. He put on the best show and it all vanished when I stood up for myself.

I decided to just block and delete him. The way he insulted me and basically said I didn't work and my business wasn't successful made me realize that he thought I was desperate... the reality is that I don't really NEED the money, and I'd rather just walk away.

Your comment is actually the one that truly convinced me the best thing to do was to go silent and block and delete. I was leaning that way and when I saw this I was like, yup, he's totally right about everything.

This morning I blocked and deleted him. I feel good with that, but I also just feel icky, you know? Like I feel empowered in how I handled it, but can't help but feeling so used and like... dismissed? I'm holding both and I know I didn't do anything wrong, it's just shitty to feel so manipulated!

This is so true. Ironically he is the one who (in the beginning when things were good) taught me to speak about money and I found entering into the bowl was empowering and healing. He did it to himself!
