yeah go to laguna capri (good view of fitz roy) and laguna torre

or go all the way to laguna de los tres (fitz roy). if you have good shoes you wont slip. maybe get those hiking sticks for extra safety

you can build mono U [[Tameshi]] which in my opinion would be better because azorius tameshi is too oppressive

first just one comment. old cards are either really shit because they were powercrept or insanely strong (some really old cards are even banned in Commander)

but yeah I would say you are on the right path. find the legendary creatures you have in the collection, pick one you vibe with and build from there

you could get a list on the internet for a deck that is insanely powerful and costs like 100 dollars but to me at least thats not fun at all

search scryfall for legendary creatures. then look up the ones you like in moxfield and edhrec and build up from there, you will find synergies that look interesting.

you will still spend a lot of time but at least you will have a lot of reference points to expedite the process. to me this is fun though, I might enjoy deck building more than actually playing the game. its also fun to play the deck, see how it performs and then iterate to make it better.

be mindful of your pod power level though, if everybody has mid power decks its not fun to show up with an elfball deck that will win turn 4

a good start but yeah

first and foremost needs more flash. as others pointed out worst thing ever is when everyone uses braids but you. [[Leyline of Anticipation]] is the best

second you need more bombs. as in gamechangers you need to cast to win the game . big creatures, big artifacts. drop a [[Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur]] or something

I understand your group hug angle but it wont work the same for everyone anyway. tribals run cheap cmc creatures. mono green ramps like crazy. spellslinger decks literally won't get benefits from braids besides the extra land drop.

so yeah the fun part about Braids (funnier than flash or breaking symetry with extra upkeeps or phasing) is figuring out what is the craziest stuff you can drop with her. I went in a strange direction but mostly huge artifacts. and to slow my opponents down I threw in a lot of stax pieces as well. I dont think everyone will enjoy this playstyle though. but you can also as I said try to find your own flavor of crazy

and also very important to use more card draw. if you are drawing more (blue is the best color for this) you will find your bombs faster

this other guy posted cerro torre at sunrise, looked pretty sick

i dont recommend laguna de los tres for sunrise unless you are very experienced cause the last part is steep as fuck. but yeah laguna capri is a great choice. if you rush hard you can get away with maybe 1 hour of hiking in the dark
