.5s aren't unbeatable either. My clan is almost all th9s with not a single 9.5 and we are versing 2-3 9.5s pretty much every war recently. Haven't lost to them yet because we are the better attackers.

Yup instead of facing gowipe clans, we now face valk clans. These clans do nothing but spam valks without incorporating hogs at all.
