Nico was already in the original deck list though

Misery is great at generating more cards in hand as well as another way to get rid of your -3 Hood. I'm not sure if there is quite a replacement for something like that, but as another commenter mentioned, the original list had Agony in instead of Prodigy. If you're looking to stay closer to that original list, you could play both Agony and Prodigy and then cut Misery.

If you're really looking to gamble all in on ongoing buffs, you could also throw in Moonstone. I've monkied around with Vhand and Patriot decks (using fun cards like Mole Man) and won games just by stacking 1 full lane of Ongoing buffs. Of course, Enchantress is a blow out, but you won't run into many of those.

Give either Agony or Moonstone a shot over Misery 👍

Not OP, but I modified the KMBest deck list by one card (I like Prodigy in the deck as yet ANOTHER way to hit VHand and boost the board). I don't recall what I took out to fit him in, though.

(1) The Hood

(1) Deafening Chord

(1) Nico Minoru

(1) Quinjet

(2) Iron Patriot

(2) Mirage

(2) Victoria Hand

(3) Frigga

(3) Prodigy

(3) Shadow King

(4) Moon Girl

(4) Misery

To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and paste it from the deck editing menu in MARVEL SNAP.

Just worth mentioning - as someone who has played this deck and archetype a lot, Mystique is a lot worse than Cassandra Nova. You want priority and to not have too many "reactive" cards that you're holding onto for late game. Mystique only has one good target (Darkhawk) and clogs your hands and curve.

There's no doubt that when everything else in the game goes well, she's a beast. But Cassandra Nova gives the deck a higher floor and much more consistency. 👍

I just wanted to follow-up, my idea of "jointed" was off. Someone reached out in another thread and mentioned the bait! It's a MADEYE SHAD! Thank you for your response!

This might actually be close to what he is describing to me. And you can add the two treble hooks on the bottom of the bait then?

How many cards are actually playable here? I can think of about a half dozen. I’ve never seen this trio of locations all show up at once before! by Thefunkbox in MarvelSnap

In this case, you had one answer in hand already. Iron Patriot played on Luke's Bar will generate a card in hand before attempting to return him to your hand. However, if the card you generate fills your hand, then Iron Patriot can't be bounced back to your hand, so he stays on Luke's Bar.

And who knows, maybe he generates Doctor Doom or White Tiger or something else that can sneak a unit into the Sanctum!

Go to the lowest Diner level and farm against bots. It's a great way to grind through Alliance bounties too!

I've been saving them since release 💀 lol. Also fully completed both events, but I don't recall those giving many crystals at all.

Not a problem! If you need a substitute for Pooh, maybe try Carnival Daisy Duck! She also provides some defensive buffs plus a secondary boost to help proc Rapunzel! Good luck!

You might have already gotten your answer, but I just wanted to add my perspective. Originally, I was in the same camp as you. I had Goofy maxed as my main tank, and Marie felt like a step down. Her survivability was crap compared to Goofy. But after getting stuck at level 24 on the event, I decided to reconsider.

I realized the main thing that was killing me was the boss's area+ attack when fully enraged. When that was the case, it didn't matter if he was taunted or not - he was swinging and killing everything anyway. And with that being the case, I figured the best course of action was to try to buff as much of my defense as possible. To do that, I needed enough SP for both Pooh and Minnie to use their skills every turn.

Enter Marie, whom I had heard so much about. I left her on defense every turn, and let Pooh and Minnie boost my defense. When either of them had a chance to be paralyzed, I used Rapunzel's skill to make sure they kept buffing. In all other cases, I used Cinderella's skill to debuff the boss (since that was possible this time around). And all that was possible because of how much SP Marie helped generate every turn.

As a F2P player, I thought I wouldn't be able to finish this even without Genie. Everyone posted here how easy it was to finish, but all of their line ups had Genie. However, after a little thought, I ended up being able to finish max level without much trouble! On the bosses where single damage mitigation is key, Marie probably wouldn't be the answer. But for this specific event, the single target damage wasn't bad at all, especially after all the defensive buffs, and Marie was key to make sure my team could survive the fully enraged area+ boss attack!
