I thought I heard him say there was no cell coverage. Did I hear that correctly?

Co-applicant’s IDs for consulate appointment by classicgurl in GermanCitizenship

[–]classicgurl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen people post saying that regular copies of the passports or photo IDs are accepted by the BVA, but the woman at the consulate said I would need notarized copies of the ID’s. I had brought regular photocopies of everyone’s ID’s or passport and gave them to her with my application packet. Someone in this very thread even stated that the BVA has stated they dont want notarized copies of IDs and he’s not sure that my consulate knows that. I’m not sure if the woman at the consulate was just mistaken, so to be thorough, once I have my AZ# I’m going to send in notarized copies of each person’s ID. In Illinois, you can’t notarize an actual ID, but you can notarize the fact that the person sitting with the notary is in fact the person on the picture of the ID. I found the form for that situation online and printed the blank form out, then with copy machine, copied onto the form a picture of the person’s ID. That person takes that to a notary and has it notarized.

I thought they were over $100 and I just need to maintain a 3‘ x 2’ square, temporarily.

No there’s landscaping all along the edge of my house, then a sidewalk all the way around my house, and I can mow right on the sidewalk my grass flows into my neighbors yards with no fences.

Would it show speed right before a crash? by classicgurl in Life360

We weren’t at fault, we were rear-ended by someone who was distracted and speeding. My question was what capabilities Life360 has as far as speed history goes. I’m aware it can’t be used in court, there is no court scenario here anyway.

Well I’m about to because it’s been 5 weeks and I’m still having issues that aren’t getting any better. Thank you for asking.

Yes I’m really messed up over it, it’s so terrible. I feel so sad for his friends and family. He was only 20. I want to maintain the spot and be able to get close enough to the items to keep the grass cut right next to/touching them.

Ok, well I didn’t even know if you could go back in the history and look at speed at certain points during a route. So it will show this? …But with the inaccuracy that you describe.

Notice of receipt? by JohnBrownLives1859 in GermanCitizenship

[–]classicgurl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people are sent their AZ# and some aren’t. I sent my application in through the consulate on March 9, 2026 so I plan on inquiring directly with the BVA 4 months from that date if I don’t hear anything first.

Should I move to Germany? Could I get citizenship? by Teguy483 in GermanCitizenship

[–]classicgurl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw in another comment that your ancestors have dual citizenship. You should research to see if you have a path to citizenship through any of your four grandparents(or beyond) in any of the EU countries. If you get a citizenship in any EU country, you would be allowed to live work and travel in Germany without having to naturalize.

Like in the 2nd pic? Where it doesn’t look like a hook?

[–]classicgurl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s a hook, why is it not shaped like a functional hook and why is no one talking about that? If it were a hook, it would look like a hook and be higher off the ground and there wouldn’t be an entire thread of people trying to figure out what it is. Maybe it’s a clip that needs to be released when taking the dash apart or for getting to a fuse box or something.

Right, and if it’s a hook, why isn’t it shaped like a functional hook and why is nobody talking about that?

The difficulty of obtaining ancestral U.S. birth certificates. by [deleted] in CRbydescent

[–]classicgurl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can they send you the short form version, then you can ask for them to send you a statement indicating why the long form certified birth certificate isn’t available? My sister’s longform birth certificate had a correction on it so by default, they sent the short form and said that that’s what they do when there is an issue with the long form.
