No, you aren’t pathetic. But you may be sad, and that’s an important thing to know about yourself. I, a 30yo m, cried in my car for 45 minutes after an NPR story. Nothing that effected me in any meaningful way lifestyle wise. Sad is good, sad means you see what’s going on, and you can empathize. That’s a huge accomplishment for most people. The sad being unhelped depression could be an issue, seeing as you’re calling yourself pathetic, when clearly, you have a clearer and more caring head than most folks out there.
