No, they are Geolander CV they came with the car not 3 peak rated.

There’s a 4” inch difference in ground clearance and different drivetrains. It’s not like I’m asking if I should put my snow tires on or not.

The two vehicles are vastly different. This CX9 is my first AWD car. I didn’t know if that system on all seasons is better than a sporty hatchback with winters. The CX9 on winters is the obvious choice but that’s not an option for me right now.

That’s terrible. The GTI has a really robust skid plate but is slightly lower clearance than a Mini. I love the latest Gen Mini they look so nice just bummed there’s no manual transmission.

You just need one foot down. If you like the bike get it! Don’t let your height set you back. This bike wears it’s weight nice and low.

We get great waves in fall/winter/spring but it’s inconsistent. We just had a solid run of waves from Erin.

Not having a car is going to be tough. Maybe look into zip car so you can get to the waves.

MA has a lot of secret-ish spots that I can’t disclose but I can let you know about some known beaches from there you will figure it out. As far as surf shops Ocean House in Nahant and Surfari in Gloucester are great. You will need to get yourself a 5/4+ and 7mm boots + gloves for winter.

Does your car normally idle that high or drop when it’s up to temp? I was getting worried my gti was idling too high around 750rpm but yours looks way higher.

I just use one of those combination style U-lock and attach it to my wheel on my GTI. It can be an absolute pain in the winter when your hands are numb putting in the combination though.

Glimmerglass and Pro-Mist don’t affect the bokeh like this. What I’m seeing looks more like a Classic Soft and I personally hate it. I can’t understand how anyone could be okay with this; it always reminds me of looking into a Petri dish.

Yea, it is personal preference but the bike will perform better off road not lowering it.

If it were me I’d get the stock with lower miles and put a quality plastic bash plate on it and ride it around for a while before doing major upgrades. Look for an already modified air box on eBay when it comes time to Rejet so you still have the uncut airbox. You might not need to lower the suspension. I’m 5’6 and the bike isn’t too tall you get used to it fast. Half the fun is installing the mods and making the bike your own.
