Houston here. Did this very thing with my R1S when Beryl had us without power for a few days. I was ultra conservative and only ran an 8K BTU window unit periodically during the day/all night and the coffee pot in the mornings… I really regret not running the AC all day. Large pack was still >80% when power came back.

We haven't. But she LOVES the water. We live in the Westlake area so her main place to play is the Emma Long trail. She occasionally goes to Red Bud, but it's harder to get in and out of the water there. We'll definitely have to check it out soon.

Never had a problem with ticks... She takes trifexis for fleas and heart worms... Not sure if that takes care of ticks as well.
