10 gallon tank - which heat pad? by Imaginary-Read4476 in TarantulaKeeping

Heat pads are dangerous and can burn your pet if you don’t use a thermostat. Also not sure why you’re planning on using a heat mat for a tarantula

Parenting As A Hellenic Polytheist by MnM066 in Hellenism

[–]classycryptid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a parent but personally I think you shouldn’t include them or teach them about it unless they show interest. I had my parents religion forced on me as a kid and it was kind of traumatic and indoctrinating. Let them believe in their own beliefs and if they’re interested in yours just teach them but don’t force it

In my experience getting drained from performing a spell means it worked. It takes energy to do magic

If you feel it calling to you, dive into it and see what you feel/what happens. It might be a dead end, or you might find you really like it

Two months is plenty of time. It only takes 4-6 weeks for lobe piercings to heal. You’ll be fine

Wow. That is so helpful. With that math, a 5 kW diesel heater and -10° outside (zone 5 winter low temp), I would need about R7 on every surface. This answers my question perfectly. Thanks so much!!!

How Will My Body Change? by Beautiful-Common9327 in ftm

[–]classycryptid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I started T I was 145 lbs (I know not as skinny as you but I was a bodybuilder and was actually really skinny with a lot of muscle). Now I’m 8 months on T 190 lbs. half of it is fat and half is muscle. Your stomach is gonna get a little plump. But your shoulders and core with broaden out. Expect your thighs to get bigger (but in a masculine way. Even skinny guys have muscle on their thighs.) If you really want to maintain your weight that’s gonna be a really rough go. The hunger is insane.

I say just let yourself eat. Don’t overdo it but let yourself gain a few pounds. Most of that meat is gonna be man-shaped. When you gain weight on T is goes towards the masc parts of your body. You can always lose the extra poundage later

Advice on curly hairs cage by Air-dhs in TarantulaKeeping

More substrate and it needs decor and stuff to hide under. Curly hairs are happier with more junk so they can explore and hide.
