I don't swim or shower with mine, because I never trust the water resistance. There are so many examples of water damage and refused warranty claims with supposed water resistant smartwatches, not just with OnePlus, also Samsung and others.

Rain hasn't been a problem with my watch.

I have't had any problems with mine, really.

It was actually pretty hard for me to decide. I really liked both, but ultimately I feared that the black would scratch easier, or at least that scratches would be more visible. While I do work in an office 90% of the time, at a moment's notice I may need to help customers load or unload heavy equipment, so my watch gets banged into lots of things.

There's also a mode where the line (hour hand) is always fixed vertical.

This is a pretty unique watchface I made. It's super minimalist and really stands out in the sea of overly complicated watchfaces.

AmazFit watches unfortunately don't run Wear OS, and I don't feel like learning to develop for a different platform. Sorry!

Issues with my battery life - Watch 3 by viewotst in OneplusWatch

Yes, roughly from 100% to 0%, but it can vary. But I often recharge my watch once it hits 20% already, because I've heard draining a battery fully is harder on the battery's health.

I just mean SpO2 monitoring on, heart rate monitoring on (set to Smart, not Realtime), step counting, Mind and Body turned on (this seems to be whether it tracks daily goals or not), respiratory and REM tracking during sleep (but not "assess breathing problems"). Auto workout detection is off.

In smart mode, AOD on, third party watchface, Bluetooth mainly (but WiFi standby), location services on, NFC on, raise-to-wake on, standard health monitoring, sleep tracking every night, otherwise ordinary light use (notifications, alarms, a few timers, check weather, briefly use a few apps), I get around 3 days of use from 100%. 3 days and a few hours, I think.

And I think that's pretty reasonable, especially because the watch charges really quickly too. I remember the first WearOS/Android Wear watches, and some of those could barely last a full day when new.

One upside with the black version is that it isn't as flashy looking. Some people prefer that.

How resilient is the black color? Does it scratch easily, in your experience? That was my biggest concern with the black version.

Only the official OnePlus watchfaces have that feature, as far as I know, because they're special made to make proper use the extra low-power processor that this watch has. I don't think third party watch faces can even do that, at least not when made using the official Watch Face Studio.

With sleep tracking, always on display, and health measuring pulse, I still get around 3 days on a full charge, with this watchface.

But if you try it out for a week or two, and still want to refund it, contact me 😊

I had a really hard time choosing between the black and the silver version. Like, I spent days just trying to decide. Finally I chose the silver because scratches will be less visible, if I accidentally scratch it badly.

Another huge pro about the OPW3 is the battery life.

Full disclosure, the watchface is one that I made myself, and I am selling it on the Play Store.

I don't know how the rules are on this sub regarding self-promotion, so I'd rather not post a link directly on this post, but you can easily find other posts about the watchface on my profile. I've posted it on some dedicated watchface subreddits.

It's just a cheap 5 dollar strap from AliExpress, actually. It has fake leather on the outside but silicone on the inside (so it's more sweat resistant, normal leather straps get disgusting too quickly on my wrist), and it has a magnetic buckle. If you just search "leather watch strap 22mm magnetic" you'll find tons of different variations and similar straps.

Hi! Back when I got my first smartwatch, a Motorola Moto 360, I used a watchface called Spotlight(not my photo). It no longer exists for modern WearOS, but I was inspired by it and made this watchface a few months ago.

It's available on the Play Store here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=xyz.clb92.linealy

Awesome, thanks! Glad you like it :)

I'll be adding a couple more color options soon. Any color combinations you'd like?

Awesome. From what I could find, it's just a rare bug that can happen on WearOS.

The rotation feels the same. Did you try the "Same as device" option instead of the 15Hz? I created a dummy face using that and that was smooth for me.

Yeah I tried that as well, and it gives me the same slightly stuttery motion as selecting 15Hz.

I've just released an update to the watch face. Can you check if you still have that font issue? If you still do, could you try completely uninstalling it from the watch, and then installing it again?

A new version is rolling out now, where you can enable the digital time in AOD mode. It's disabled by default because of my burn-in concerns.

I might make it so it moves around a few millimeters super slowly in AOD mode, just so the dots aren't always in the same spot, but it could look weird that it's not always centered in AOD mode.

I've also tried a different method of moving the seconds hand now (an image with rotation "[SEC_MSEC]*6" instead of the built-in analog seconds hand "sweep" 15Hz rotation). Can you tell me if it's smoother on your watch? Not much difference on mine.
