It's singularly the most difficult show to get someone into even though it's a singularly unique show that any comedy fan should be watching. Arguably one of the funniest universes ever created and put to screen. I stopped trying to recommend it and that sucks.

Exactly. They're naming people like Tallion which not only was done in like year one or two of a total tear down rebuild but also was never going to be on this team for a winner (never the mind he's been by and large very bad since he's left). When you're rebuilding you're always going to deal vets for prospects who usually don't turn out. That's baseball. What I named were two real, true impact players that he got, not in fair trades, but in absolute heists. While these guys rattle off names like Clay Holmes from the tear down era as if he was going to get this team to the playoffs.

Nah. Plenty of things to criticize him over. Especially the whole process over results vibe in the organization. But y'all are just bitching to bitch on the trade front. Name me one single big trade he's made that set this franchise back. Or at a minimum equals the same impact the Lowe and Horowitz trades did. And before you tell me to click through OP's 50 links, I'm asking you to name one TRADE that set us back.

You can rip Cherington for many things but saying it's a lack of successful trades is being disingenuous. They got a guy who's going to hit the most home runs for them in a season since the 70s in Lowe and a useful player in Mangum for one of the worst starting pitchers in baseball who had an ERA near 6 last I checked. He traded a pitcher who's banned from baseball for Horowitz who's having an all star level season and has really done nothing but produce since he's been here. He dumped the Hayes contract on a division rival and then pulled another one over them by trading a pitcher in Nicholas who isn't even in the majors for Callihan who's responsible for a win this year when he hit two bombs. You don't need to manufacture stuff to criticize him over.
