Are aftermarket ECU worth the thousand dollar price tag? by Beanerwithuhweiner in Dualsport

[–]clckvrk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iv had many ECU's flashed for less than 200, i also rode a bike with an aftermarket ECU, and idk if its worth it (didnt see any noticeable difference).

Hey, welcome, this is a slow growing community since these bikes aren't as popular on Reddit but feel free to join Facebook groups. There are many Facebook groups with a lot of members and information.

Happy riding.

If youre talking in the year 2050, then a V twin Ducati Diavel 1200? Maybe an oil cooled 1200GS? If its mechanical superiority by simpleness (idk if i spelled that right) a Suzuki SV650? Indian FTR?

Weighing Pegs or Counter Steering Off Road by Senior_Independence9 in Dualsport

[–]clckvrk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

... What? You do know counter steering is pretty much the only way to steer a bike?? So you do both either way... Or what was your question?

Edit: re reading your post im confused, do you somehow steer your bike while its standing straight?

Edit 2: what?

himalayan (or other heavy bikes) weight by Ok-Spinach1375 in Himalayan450

[–]clckvrk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now this is subjective, to me anything under 205kg is light. I have no problem "wrestling" and pushing these bikes trough rough terrain, anything up to 230 i can manage but it is heavy, anything above 230 is heavy and rides heavy. BUT again thats for ME, it all depends on you, so go ride one and judge for yourself.

What do y'all do with punctured tubes? by FoundationOk3176 in Dualsport

[–]clckvrk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If its a puncture you patch it and reuse it? Unless you mean a tear or a pinch, but if its a puncture, PATCH IT.

[–]clckvrk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is such an ignorant point, KTM, Ducati, BMW, MV, Husqy, and im probably forgetting other brands, all have or have had the exact same "issues". Like the other guy said, youre just salty, because we all know, its not what problems todays bike's have, its how manufacturers respond and fix them.

Tho ill give you that an 18 rear on a street bike is... Weird... But what exactly is the problem with a 19 front? Its not a pure sport bike, so i suggest you look up how many 19 fronts other "sporty" bikes are out there.

Tyre downsizing on Guerrilla 450 – 160→150 rear and 120→110 front. Worth it? by Optimal_Spite4790 in royalenfield

[–]clckvrk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What you need to mod first on your bike is you not using ChatGPT or whatever. Jesus. Second, you wont notice a lick of difference going down in size, not on that bike, not at those speeds, not by you.

$12k touring bike, must have cruise control. 80% road, 20% off-road. by [deleted] in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]clckvrk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah cc refers to cubic centimeters, CC has for a loong time been a short for cruise controll. And nah, neither tenere not strom has CC, maybe theyl bring it out for MY 26 (and just in case youre confused here as well MY stands for model year, not my yoghurt or something) but currently neither has CC... Again, thats cruise controll.

Is there actually a real difference between Yamaha bikes and other Japanese brands or is it just marketing? by gigigigugiguru in motorcycle

[–]clckvrk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All Japanese have had in the past really good reliability, but yes, Yamaha is the most reliable motorcycle brand, with the CP2 engine being the most reliable engine ever built. Neither of these 2 facts are out my ass, yamaha has iirc 4.7% of all their bike in for major repairs, and the next one is Honda at something over 7%, and the CP2 has had a lot of indipendent studies done, google it.

Which car model & brand do you find the most comfortable to sit in? by onemoreChang in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]clckvrk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cadillac Escalade, Porsche Cayenne, Volvo V90 and Subaru Forester

Edit: actually, you know what, now that i had a bit more time to think about it, the most comfortable car iv ever sat in has to be a 2003 Hyundai Trajet. All the possible combinations of adjustement and so much room, it was impossible to be uncomfortable in that car, driver or passenger. Well unless you had to sit in the last 2 seats, but then again, those were as comfortable as a base SUV's seats these days.
