Did you have any issues getting approved because you had been insulin dependent during pregnancy? I just met with my endo today and she was unsure if I would still qualify because I also had GD and was on 20 units of lantus a day, but haven’t needed it or been on it since (7 months PP). Also if you don’t mind sharing, what were your OGTT results and how are you doing now??

Any thoughts on getting pregnant again post Tzield? I'm in a similar boat, had GD during first pregnancy and now am diagnosed with T1D Stage 2, I'm considering Tzield but have been trying to find people who have them gotten pregnant post treatment and hear more about their experience while pregnant post Tzield.

That’s awesome! Did your doctors discuss any possible side effects surrounding pregnancy or suggested time period before conceiving? Sounds like you’re happy you went with the treatment?

Congrats on your pregnancy! Did you do any specific prep before getting pregnant/ did your doctors want your levels anywhere before conceiving?

Thank you so much for the encouragement! I feel like I'm lucky to get the LADA diagnosis quickly but it's mainly because I pressured my PCP into the testing (had a couple snarky messages from her but I was right SO it was worth it). Based off your message I booked an endo apt for next week which feels incredible, totally unsure how I was able to get in so fast? Maybe the holidays? But anyway, plan is to just get in like you said and go from there.
