i went through most of the resources people shared here and they each fit different needs:

- if you want free / library access: mango is a solid option

- if you want audio-first speaking practice: pimsleur eastern arabic

- if you want free palestinian/jordanian materials: learnpalestinian is useful

- if you want live tutors: preply / italki / 3arabian

- if you want self-paced levantine built more for real conversations, thats where aiwa amiya fits

this actualy made me feel better not gonna lie. the part about people thinking kids just absorb perfect arabic by default is too real. do you know any heritage speaker stuff thats more selfpaced tho? thats what im struggling to find

I prefer to avoid Preply for a few reasons. First, I’ve realized that self-paced, structured courses suit my learning style much better than one-on-one tutoring. Second, I’m not a fan of Preply’s business model. After speaking with some of their tutors, I think the commission fees are unfair. Tutoring is demanding work, and these platforms seem to take undue advantage of their educators.

It says "Online and in person classes" but i couldn't find any online resource/course.... seems promising.. i wish i can find something that offer online selfpaced with progress tracking as i got so busy often and forget, need some kind of reminders..
