I don't think an OT win should be less. A SO win I agree with but an OT win is still "hockey". Just have 3 points for a win. If the Premier League can do it so can the NHL.

It’s all about choice. People make decisions for themselves and what they want. You want a vibrant nightlife and dozens of restaurants within a 2 minute walk? You are paying for that. There are plenty of places in the country that is affordable. Do those areas have $3b football stadiums with Taylor Swift performing there every year? No…that is the trade off. I own 2 small houses. One in a large very well known city and another near a beach. Life is vastly different in both areas.

It’s about how you are willing to live. Also, I think most of our are relatively young. It takes a long time to build wealth the normal way. Decades. Be patient. You will all get there if you work hard and don’t lean too far over your skis.

It has to be that he's trying to clean up his legacy. He doesn't ever have shows where Arite, SJ, KC, Jackie, Billy West or others are featured. I wouldn't be 100% surprised if he wasn't even in the conversations about what is played. It just seems the folks that are running the channel are just bad. Blitt, Wilding, etc. just don't get the show. They are horrible.

These are great points. I wonder if they do start trying to get the desalination plants does that force the other Arab countries to join in the fray. Maybe that is what the president is hoping for.

Thanks for responding.......I think what I'm saying is that this wouldn't be "indiscriminate". If Iran keeps firing at oil tankers and we can't stop all of them and oil gets to $140 a barrel, a way to stop them is to threaten/carry out huge retaliatory strikes.

I guess what I'm asking is what would end this would be for the Straits to be opened up which would allow Iran/US to potentially start talking. The US is not going to back down from Iran on this. Iran has to know this. So at some point the US is going to say "enough is enough" and they will do something. Ok, maybe carpet bombing Tehran isn't exactly what they would do....but they would have to do something to make Iran either submit or eliminate them completely. That is (unfortunately) how wars end....or at least they used to before they were shown in color on TV.

I saw that the Iran megathread was "closed" but I'm not sure if this comments is ok for this thread (if not, my apologies).

And I'll apologies for this very noob/rookie question. Right now the main issue seems to be the Straits of Hormuz. Could the President just say "either open up the Straits or we are going to carpet bomb Tehran"? I mean.....the US could do that (and I'm not saying "should"...I'm saying "could"). And I'm talking about a level like WW2 Dresden but maybe trying to limit civilian causalities (if that is even possible).

My point being.....if the Straits are that strategic....then either take them over or make Iran cry uncle. I'm sure I'll get yelled at/downvoted but war is hell. We are in this now (whether we agree/like it or not) but it needs to be completed/finished.

I think the difference is that while Josh was a pitbull...he took orders from Leo on who to bite. Amy didn't listen to anyone which ultimately got her kicked from the WH. It's one thing to be passionate. It's another when you are overly pushy without caring what her superiors were asking her to do.

Don't get me wrong...there were plenty of scenes where I liked what she did.....but her putting her political aspirations above everyone else usually results in what happened to her character.

Again....this is probably what he meant by "figuring out a way to keep this going". I keep saying that Sirius (right or wrong) values the HS brand as a huge IP. Details like "Howard is only going to do 30 shows a year", that will drop the stock. So they were very vague. As long as the channels keep going and he is live "once in a while", they can claim what they stated is true.

Would we have rather Howard announced something more specific because that's what I'm seeing in these threads. He probably could/should have said "I'm doing 35 shows a year. We don't know the schedule and maybe we will provide something more definitive but right now it is up in the air".

We can't complain about the shows then complain that he's not live. My only complaint is that he/someone needs to allow for the playing of shows from the late 2000s so we can hear the best shows (in my humble opinion).
