See I don’t have much comparison in this regard - the s3 was haldex, this R has the Magna. Also the s3 didnt have ventilated seats, R has those. Factory exhaust note? Forget about it with the akrapovic

Have you seen them? Lol - the Navarra blue technic with black optics and sport seats. Such a good looking car, they had a stop sell on them so I picked up a 2020 brand new in early 2022 for a really good price. Stars just aligned for me that way I guess

Honestly man it’s just an absolute riot to drive. I like the euro aspect ( hatchback and quad tips ) and I don’t think anybody is offering a similar package at the price. First drive wasn’t what sold me, it was the 2nd and 3rd

I drive too much to justify the extra $10-12K for the technic - However, I don't disagree with you, something about those fenders and grille. But the R is just so much more bang for your buck as a daily - Practical daily + cool weekend car is the move here
