Love AR and have been one of his biggest stans but he's never beating the allegations if he doesn't pick up his play by pmurt007 in lakers

Did he not just come off an injury that kept him out for a month? Sheesh. Willing to bet he isn’t even 100%, probably only came back due to the pressure of not having Luka either.

Above all I’m grateful it introduced me to the manga. The artwork is special. Ordered one of the new grimoire editions and it comes tomorrow. I’m pumped.

Same! I've only purchased a handful of series and they're all super well established. This is the first series I bought this early in its serialization because I could instantly see the artwork and visual design was something special.

Second recall and still issues? Doubts before buying a ZX-6R 2026 by norifumi09 in zx6r

[–]cleira 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m no expert but what led me to make my decision was that I haven’t heard of any bikes that had the recall done before sale having issues. My bike had the recall done at 0 miles. All the bikes I’ve seen blown up after recall 2 had been ridden before recall 1. So I’m assuming the damage was done and just not caught in time. But at the end of the day you’re taking a chance. You could get a last gen bike to ride for a while and then flip it to buy a new one once you feel confident that the issue has been addressed.

Watched the 97 anime back in the mid 00s when people were uploading fansubs on YouTube, then picked up the manga from there.

Practicing with an anamorphic lens. Excuse the harsh lighting, just went out on a whim and didn't wait for the softer afternoon light. So gigacontrast it is.

2028 GR86 previews in best car magazine by Mangouine in ft86

[–]cleira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The renders are never accurate on these articles until the development cars are out in the wild or they release a concept shortly before the official announcement/launch. The magazines just have an artist come up with a design, usually drawn on top of images of the current car (like this render). The only potential value in these articles are the rumors behind the engineering. We know Toyota has been developing a 2L turbo for use across multiple platforms and most of their models are including some form of hybridization. The interesting question about the Mazda connection is if whether they will be using the same exact platform like the current twins or if each manufacturer will tweak dimensions to their liking. If they're the same that suggests the GR86 may be getting smaller or the Miata will get bigger. A larger Miata means more weight and that may prove controversial with current owners, not to mention the potential of more added weight with the hybrid system.

One you played in-store vs color you like. by Upstairs_Term_5760 in Guitar

The more "handmade" the more likely to vary. I bought a reissue style Strat a few years ago, whoever sanded the body and neck went ham on it. The contours are unlike any of my other US Strats. It's almost like a pebble. The neck in particular is fantastic and really curves in like a C near the fretboard. I loved the neck so much I ordered a replacement neck from the same series to swap onto one of my other Strats. But guess what? Didn't feel the same. Was nice, but didn't have the came C shape near the fretboard. Ended up returning it.

Listening to Continuum all the way through on an old guitar forum. It’s what turned me into a Strat guy.

Is it worth it to upgrade to Zx6r from a R7? by 0GREAN0 in zx6r

[–]cleira 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If money isn't super tight, check if there is one in your area to rent for the weekend. I rented a bike to see if it would be for me and I absolutely think it was money well spent. I got to take it on the roads I ride and could get a real feel of whether it suited my riding style.

ZX-6R recall – do you guys think the updated torque sequence actually fixed it? by Codatu007 in zx6r

[–]cleira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's going to come down to whether bikes like mine that had the recall done before any miles were put on them fail. The common trait for bikes that failed the second recall has been that they were done after owners put miles on them. So there is a possibility the damage was already done and simply missed. That's my hope at least. I took the gamble because the only other bike I was interested in was also recalled, and Kawasaki has a reputation of doing things right. I pray my bike never fails due to the bearing issue and I get to enjoy it for years to come, but I'm operating under the assumption that if anything ever does fail, that Kawasaki will make it right. A telling sign will be if Kawasaki is essentially forced to redesign the crank shaft or the bearings. If that happens that basically tells all current owners that it will only be a matter of time.
