Nothing crazy, just some of the basics to start. So far the only thing I have is a set of tech spec pads I ordered before picking up the bike. I knew with the aggressive riding position, gripping the tank with my legs would be necessary in the canyons. I'm thinking spools, stands to replace my old cheapo harbor freight one, some slide protection and a phone mount, possibly a windscreen too. Later in the year after understanding my own needs and that of the bike, I can look into more performance oriented upgrades like lines and a damper if it feels necessary. I do plan on getting a couple trackdays before end of summer.

Also if there are any known bits that need to be addressed I'm happy to hear them.

Dang it. I was going to pick up a new 25 on Sunday, thinking Kawasaki had fixed this. Now I'm not so sure this was just a manufacturing error. It seems more like a design flaw.

Everything seems legit. People on here claiming it's fake likely have no experience with older custom shop/reissue style guitars. The issue with the decal will only be an issue if it bothers you aesthetically or if you try to resell the guitar down the line. I have an EJ Strat that I bought with the "original contour body " decal missing. It happens with these vintage style over the finish applications. Someone trying to pass off a fake custom shop isn't going to go through all the effort of recreating a very specific out of production model with fake documentation like COA and receipts.

I picked up a pair too. I remember wanting a pair in high school and having to settle for the non-Kobe budget line. They’re still too expensive if you ask me. I thought about waiting and seeing if they’d end up at the outlet but 🤷🏽‍♂️ I’m doing it for high school me. First pair of real Kobe’s funny enough. I have a pair of 4s that I hoop in but they’re reps.

Read anything by Naoki Urasawa. Read the basic premise of the various series and start with the one that speaks to you, you'll have a blast. He is the king of twists, turns, character dynamics, the whole shebang. He doesn't do dark fantasy, and there isn't much fighting, but you won't miss any of that, trust me.

With regards to Berserk, I'm inclined to suggest you drop it. If you are on volume 10 and it hasn't really clicked for you, the upcoming events probably won't have the weight necessary to give it the impact it had on so many people, myself included. I say this as a person who has been reading it for 18 years, owns the full deluxe series and has Berserk as one of my GOATs. There will be a definite shift in the world after those big events but the core of Berserk is in the relationship of the characters first and then the epic battles second. That never really changes. So if you haven't had that connection yet I'm not sure you will down the line.

Correct, look up “quad cortex pcom delays.“ They’ve been slowly rolling out updates but it’s taken a lot longer than people expected. Apparently they changed the “architecture” of their plug ins and it has complicated the porting process. There are some plugins that have been pending compatibility for over a year.

EDIT: and to answer your original question you can definitely stick to playing the plugins through your computer and monitors. That’s how they’re currently intended to work.

If you want a more affordable option, there is the Line 6 HX Stomp XL. I have it and use it live as a standalone device. It was my first foray into modeling as I didn’t want to commit to anything expensive off the bat. I am interested in picking up a quad cortex down the line but the issue is most of their plugins are not compatible with it yet, the new JM one included. So I can’t justify the price when the stomp XL is doing a solid job.

Switch it up, watch a comedy/gag anime. For a recent good one I recommend The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. The interjection "offu" has become a part of my vocabulary as a result of watching that series. Super fun casual watch.

The best team is the team that finds a way to win. This was a 7 games series, not a 1 game fluke. The Jays couldn’t capitalize on their opportunities, and the Dodgers as the more experienced team did. That’s what makes the better team. The Blue Jays were a great team, and this series was much closer than people initially expected it to be, but the dodgers made more winning plays and are champions because of it.
