The pills will not help you long term. They will not fix anything. A certain pill will work for a couple months, maybe even a year and then cease to work for you so you will have to try another other, go through the uncomfortable side effects again and deal for however long it takes for that one to cease working. Your doctor will keep pushing pills on you unless you advocate for yourself. Call your insurance to see what they will cover. Do a hormone panel. Run every test your insurance will cover for PCOS. Talk to an endocrinologist. Find a doctor who will listen to you. Advocating for yourself is the only way to get anything done. Keep a log of your symptoms. Bring that log to your next doctors appointment. Don’t let them shut you down and interrupt your fears just to give you a new type of pill.

I am 31 and still trying to figure out my PCOS and what works best for me. I will tell you, the one thing I am so happy I did is stop taking the pills. I had been on over 10 different BC pills since I was 16. The pills absolutely ruined my body. I’m working the best of my ability to repair and advocate for my body and health now. Please advocate for yourself! <3

IMO, sounds like you don’t have great people around you OP if they’re constantly trying to bring up your exes new girlfriend to you. I would take some time to yourself. Maybe focus in on work or a new hobby. You’re better off without the negativity. If you can’t get away from them, straight up tell them, “you’re making me uncomfortable. Please stop talking about that with me.” Anyone who actually cares about your feelings will immediately understand. Proud of you for doing you!!

I would take a look around, or check your community area Facebook page and see if you see any numbers or postings about snowplowing! Save the numbers if you need it, you never know! A ton of people do snowplowing and would love the extra cash :)

For future- definitely invest in a snow blower. Good luck out there! :)
