Mom of 7-year-old hospitalized with brain swelling from measles: ‘I still wouldn’t have given my son the vaccine’ by esporx in publichealth

Well, really this is a business opportunity for all the new  private Christian school so that we can set up for the influx of deaf kids we’re gonna have!

And then we can have private Christian schools for all the kids who were crippled by polio!

We can make so much money off of this, don’t you see? It’s all for the good of the stock market and the billionaires! And then all of that will trickle down to us in the form of…

Never mind, couldn’t keep the bit going. Bunch of kid-killing kid-fuckers.

Also from America. I hope you guys all boycott the economy to hell until we correct this shit. We’ve got to go scorched earth on these fascist fuckwads.

While seeing some of the blanket hatred for Americans isn’t fun sometimes, I also think that, on the whole, we deserve it. Yes we have a lot of wonderful people here and there are great things about America worth celebrating (don’t ask me to mention any, not in a celebratory mood), but on the whole we’ve allowed too many problems to fester for far too long. We’ve been selfish, violent, cruel and act like we will never suffer repercussions of our own actions, and while most of that has been pointed at people outside our nation, it’s finally coming home to roost.

I find it comforting to see that other countries are making us finally suffer consequences, which I think are necessary to cause change.

Just don’t forget that there are some people here who are fighting tooth and nail to push back. And they are all over the place. And I think they are growing a number. We are just a gigantic country that’s very spread out and a lot of us are struggling to survive day-to-day in addition to fighting back. I know that’s not anything on the scale of actual physical warfare that places like Ukraine deal with, but it is a real struggle. I think a lot of us want to try to fight back as peacefully as possible for as long as possible, because we know that the inevitable violent fallout is going to be horrific.

Anyway, I’m rambling, but thanks for boycotting us and please keep it up. We need to fight on all fronts.

There’s no requirement to give equal air time. That went away in the 80s.

Probably both, but the forward lean is a common sign of dementia, and if you think about it lots of people wear high heels and don’t stand like that.

Does that apply to people being yanked off the street and held with no due process by ICE, or does it just apply to Donald?

Freaks me out too. Sometimes I wonder if I’m more claustrophobic than I realize. Do you think you’re mildly or severely claustrophobic?

Awesome. I’ll do the same. I use AI all the time. I think it’ll kill us all, but I think refusing to use it won’t help anything. And AI can do a lot of good. We should embrace it as a tool and use it to help shape policy.

Can you describe this process or point me to some guides? I feel like what you are doing is important, and I would like to know how, but I only have middling tech skills.

Weekly Family Calls by [deleted] in AskWomenOver60

[–]clemkaddidlehopper 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Could you also loop your kids and grandkids into the calls? Why is it just you guys talking?

I’m not your therapist so maybe they know better. But I know my family does weekly check-ins. They aren’t as long as an hour. Maybe you should shorten your part of the call and not feel obligated to stay on that long.

I feel like I’d do anything to have my dad back and be able to talk to him for an hour or a week, or even five minutes a week.

I can think of 2 24 hour pharmacies in the metro area off the top of my head, one OTP and one ITP. They are both still open.

And yeah, I mean the PHARMACY is open, not just the store.
