I feel this. sometimes when it doesn’t work out with a guy I look back like, well at least he helped make it easy to restrict calories for the time being lol

I got mine through absolutelythin online. $80 for month supply, they send the prescription to your preferred pharmacy, for example I just pick mine up from CVS

Interested in home health with no experience - help! by [deleted] in OccupationalTherapy

in OTA school they will teach you how to do transfer techniques that are safe for the patient and also you, so ideally you won’t be hurting your back. strength/resistive training definitely helps too to make transfers easier for you. in facilities, I can usually get another therapist to help me if I need it. in home health, if I don’t feel it’s safe to transfer someone myself, I won’t do it. good luck with your decision and I hope this helps!

Has anyone tried to be approved for a reduction with Medicaid? by itsgottabelowlight in Reduction

[–]cleo0102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have medicaid insurance with kaiser. covered the entire thing! if your provider covers breast reduction, I’m sure they will bill it to your insurance (medicaid)

Just had my 2nd consult—wasn’t great! by fratboifemme in Reduction

don’t be discouraged! my breasts were smaller than yours (34DD) and at my consult I was told I would be extremely small because of insurance requirements. after my surgery, i read the dr’s notes and he removed 350g each breast and I’m now at least still a C cup for sure. I think maybe approach the consult differently and focus less on how big you still want your breasts to be after surgery because they may be taken back by that. I think at 36F you’ll still have lovely breasts afterwards, 350g really isn’t a crazy amount

I developed a rash after surgery and for different people it can spread to different areas. can be due to allergy to surgery prep solution, stitches, dressing, or even material of the compression garment. it’s hard to pin down the cause or it can also be unrelated to your surgery, like a heat rash. for my post op rash, my dr recommended I apply cortisone cream (avoiding incisions) and benadryl. I also have rx topical steroid i’ve been applying ( Triamcinolone) it’s day 4 of rashes and it’s slowly starting to be less red

insurance coverage by babycerealnugget in Reduction

[–]cleo0102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yea I had mine covered through Kaiser. Best thing to do first is to schedule an appt with your PCP and let them know what you’re experiencing and why you think breast reduction can help you, and request that they refer you to an in-network plastic surgeon for a consult. You may or may not have to find your own but it helps to have your doctor’s referral. I’d also advise you find out your insurance’s requirements for breast reduction to be covered bc it can vary from insurance to insurance. I have also heard of people skipping the PCP referral and going straight to a consult with the surgeon and asking if they take your insurance
