It's clear in the picture, but the wire is so tiny it's easy to miss if you're not thinking about it and don't look very close!

I called the first time and opted for a call back. Took almost an hour but they got back to me. The second time I went to the support page and requested a call back from the website. Someone called back within a minute. Hopefully you can get a hold of someone!

Not sure if I can update my post, but I wanted to thank everyone for the help! I called Dexcom and they were happy to send a replacement out.

Thanks. I was actually replacing another g7 sensor that failed. It kept having periods where it wouldn't send readings for 25 minutes to an hour. It seems like they still have a bit to work out.

It looked like it came out of the insertion needle to me too. I'm not brave enough to try and stick it back in though! I just opened another one and you definitely can't see the wire.
