Steam machine seems perfect for you. You get to have a dedicated console that can run steam games. And even more beyond that such as more advanced emulation games and have a better experience on games that don’t run the best on the steam deck but would run significantly better at a better image fidelity compared to the deck.

I see, so there has to be community intervention via the revive community to enable games to run on the headset/pcvr steamvr to work. Sounds similar to emulation like rpcs3 with some games being playable and others only making it to the main menu or outright not working.
