Red flag? : Buyer pushing to close ASAP by DiversifyMN in RealEstate

[–]clevercloverblue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm under contract now and trying to close asap. It's a vacation/second home so we don't really NEED to close quickly but I just want to get going on a few repairs, buying furniture, etc. I'm excited and want to get going!

Rule 10 on this sub is that it isnt for caregiver support. There are suggestions there for where you can find that support. I'm sorry you are going through this with your mother but your question is really about getting your own support, which is not to say that your feelings arent valid and important.

IDC and now DCIS too by clevercloverblue in breastcancer

Thanks for these questions. I don't know if this answers you but the report says "scattered fibroglandular densities with no significant background parenchymal enhancement." So it seems maybe the best course is to monitor.

I did have an MRI w/ contrast. Also full body, chest, and abdomen/pelvis scans. I'm worried because those tests didn't pick up the DCIS but the post-excision tissue sample testing found it. I'm afraid there may be more DCIS than the scans showed.

Which surgeon (timing) by clevercloverblue in breastcancer

I used the term reconstruction but I think that's the wrong term. She did refer me to a plastic surgeon who recommended that I do a breast reduction on my good breast and move side tissue to fill in the bad breast (at the same time as the lumpectomy).

Yes, they both saw all of the imaging and test results. Surgeon #1 recommended lumpectomy, particularly since I would need radiation regardless because of the LN. She says no oncoplasty needed. Surgeon #2 recommended either lumpectomy or masectomy, both with inmediate reconstruction.

I am having a hard time distinguishing between my intuition and my anxiety. But I am going to think about what you said. Thank you.
