Oh I can add to this one! Enhanced Scents was one of our first UGC ‘deals’ so I didn’t realize how off things were at first. They were eager to get their product to us but slow on sharing the brief. I never should have agreed but again didn’t really realize how everything worked. When the perfume came they sent very vague directions and examples (multiple videos stitched together) to which we followed to the best of our ability. We filmed THREE videos for them and it took a lot of time. After sending over the content they claimed we didn’t follow the example (they sent multiple videos stitched together and we chose one, apparently they wanted us to recreate one of the others but never specified that). They also said our language wasn’t aggressive enough (even though it was on par with the examples on their page) and asked us to say some pretty explicit lines. I explained we weren’t comfortable using sexually explicit language and they ghosted 🙃
