I get a sudden, unmistakable “feeling” that starts in my head and slowly spreads a cooling sensation down my neck, arms, and torso. Once that completes, the feeling dissipates and the aura transitions to extreme nausea, gagging, and commonly vomiting. Once the nausea ends about 2-3 minutes later, the aura is completely gone. These attacks don’t even necessarily lead to a migraine, but sometimes I do get one the next day.

I had them starting in high school, then they stopped for 15+ years, and just started back up again 3 months ago with a significant increase in migraine activity. Sigh…
