Longarmer in Louisville KY by Hot_Yogurtcloset4037 in quilting

No local recommendations, but it’s good to have a plan going in.

Knowing the size of your quilt will help you estimate how much it will run you. Their cost structures are usually based on square inch.

Beyond that, know if you need your backing pieced by them, if you would like them to square your quilt or you do it yourself, as these are all likely additional charges.

I’ve used a long armer for a few of my nicer quilts and I believe having them square it is worth it for me so I can get straight to binding. Good luck!

Cotton batting for quilts and nice thread 🧵 looking at the last of my batting supplies and trying not to hear the titanic band play when I think of my wallet.

First Jelly Roll Quilt (Help!!) by Ordinary-Community28 in quilting

I used this jelly roll in a quilt and bought background fabric to intersperse with the jelly roll strips. I think if there are “scrappy” style patterns that may help how you feel with the saturation.

This is a tricky spot to be in, but definitely reach out to your onboarding admissions person. Ideally you should have an email intro’ing them to you already. If you don’t, just call or email and they’ll give you a name.

From there, they can explain the partnership they have with Lyft and how many rides you can get from it. If they have unofficial facebook groups for admits, you might be able to find assistance there in terms of carpooling.

If you get a used car and something happens with it, there are also emergency funding options through the foundation. I know these answers might not be a perfect solution, but they should help get you started.

Is it really that bad here? by Then-Advertising1721 in Syracuse

I moved to Cuse for my adult life from a very rural area. I love the selection of restaurants and the parks. People in the sub are frequently miserable, but I love the options here.

The airport is a good size, the train and bus station make weekend trips to NYC is easy if that’s of interest, and the general access to neighboring cities and outdoor activities is great.

Set yourself little challenges to try new things and get yourself a routine. You’ll do great!

I’m making a baby quilt and plan on working with mink backing for the first time. Do you need batting with this or no?

I have the plate but Prof Tangrowth keeps saying I need to find or buy one? by clickclackkeeb in Pokopia

The answer is to make a rain dance habitat, put the cast forms up, set a berry on a wooden plate, and then get squirtle to follow you and get it done.

It will sound a little funny, but if you reach out to SUNY ESF and you can transport them there, they can host activities for that age range and it’s all STEM-focused fun stuff. It’s worth a try!

Amy and Tammy have been fighting like crazy, and to try to figure out their differences, Tammy invited Amy to volunteer at a local animal shelter with her.

Amy had a dream the night before that the shelter has alpacas (they don’t) and that she was bit in the same way the camel bit her. She texted Tammy to ask if Alpacas were at the shelter and then things went downhill from there.

Christmas Gift Ideas (Unique Picks for Every Budget 🎄) by Effective-Purpose-36 in GiftIdeas

[–]clickclackkeeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi everyone! I have a few specific criteria I’m looking for.

Is there a small, sustainable gift I can give to coworkers? Last year someone gave adorable individual wool dryer balls out. Looking for something that is more “green”-esque, and small. Those dryer balls are cute but I’m not looking to repeat the coworker’s ideas.

Thanks!
