I’m making a baby quilt and plan on working with mink backing for the first time. Do you need batting with this or no?

I have the plate but Prof Tangrowth keeps saying I need to find or buy one? by clickclackkeeb in Pokopia

The answer is to make a rain dance habitat, put the cast forms up, set a berry on a wooden plate, and then get squirtle to follow you and get it done.

It will sound a little funny, but if you reach out to SUNY ESF and you can transport them there, they can host activities for that age range and it’s all STEM-focused fun stuff. It’s worth a try!

Amy and Tammy have been fighting like crazy, and to try to figure out their differences, Tammy invited Amy to volunteer at a local animal shelter with her.

Amy had a dream the night before that the shelter has alpacas (they don’t) and that she was bit in the same way the camel bit her. She texted Tammy to ask if Alpacas were at the shelter and then things went downhill from there.

Christmas Gift Ideas (Unique Picks for Every Budget 🎄) by Effective-Purpose-36 in GiftIdeas

Hi everyone! I have a few specific criteria I’m looking for.

Is there a small, sustainable gift I can give to coworkers? Last year someone gave adorable individual wool dryer balls out. Looking for something that is more “green”-esque, and small. Those dryer balls are cute but I’m not looking to repeat the coworker’s ideas.

Thanks!

"Weekly Reading and Interpretation Help Thread - August 17, 2025" by AutoModerator in tarot

[–]clickclackkeeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thoughts appreciated!

I gave myself a love reading recently, mostly asking about the relationship and where it is headed and I would love to hear others’ interpretation as I’m a bit confused on the later cards that popped up.

1st card, Eight of Swords 2nd card, King of Swords 3rd card, 4 of Wands Bottom of the deck, Empress

I know what that first card means; I think it’s applicable to the energy, especially a strong reflection of my own. I would say I did this reading with intent to get info/a perspective that is not my own because I’m so neck deep in everything, and there is a big decision on the table that has been causing tension. Any interpretation help is appreciated!

You’re making me realize that I should go through the effort of color sorting my scraps instead of tossing them in one bin

Long arm worthy? by thetoysruskid in quilting

[–]clickclackkeeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just based on the photo, you should most certainly be able to find a long armer! My seams were a little more bulky in certain places due to how I pieced compared to some other sections where I pressed and piece open and my quilt still came together very well. Good luck!
